Of all the superhero's conjured up in the minds of Hollywood Producers they would have us to believe that a Mighty Man of Iron and Honorable Will finds himself endowed with super human attributes who comes out of obscurity and sets about to save the world from the evil doers.

Our Lord on the other hand sends children.

To free Israel from the Egyptians he sent Moses, as a child.
To be a great ruler he sent Hanna a Samuel, as a child.
To offer salvation to all of mankind He came Himself in the form of a child.

    That's pretty awesome.

"For unto us a child is born, unto us a son is given: and the government shall be upon his shoulder: and his name shall be called Wonderful, Counsellor, The mighty God, The everlasting Father, The Prince of Peace.

Of the increase of his government and peace there shall be no end, upon the throne of David, and upon his kingdom, to order it, and to establish it with judgment and with justice from henceforth even for ever. The zeal of the Lordof hosts will perform this." Isaiah 9:6-7

He sends all children. Each one specifically in His mind and for a purpose. If we think it's just human behavior (or misbehavior) that sends children we're wrong. But deep down we think that, because we don't really believe that He maketh His sun to rise on the evil and on the good, and sendeth rain on the just and the unjust. We think He wound up the universe, set it in motion, and that it does what it does while He monitors it.

But God sends children. Each one with a purpose and a calling.

Amen so true! What a great perspective to put into light. Not all Christians realize this.
