Right! that's a common answer "the world as you knew it no longer exists".

But in this case it's true.

It just so happens that Saturday I'm building a pile of horse manure (in layers and wetting it down to bring it 'in heat') for the 2013 garden.

    How befitting.

Well, at this late hour it has been the 21st in the far east for several hours. How many times have we heard dates in our lives that is the end of the world. Too many to count.

But it's not the 21st where the Mayans were. They weren't in Fiji so we can't go by them. ;)

Well, you got me on that one. Cannot think of a good comeback since I doubt there were any airliners going to Australia from Mexico.

Just out of curiosity, is this supposed to happen just after midnight on Friday early morning, or just before midnight, Friday late-night?

It is a gradual 24 hour process. It starts out with the Zombies, then the asteroids move in, then the comets. After about twelve hours, the fundemental Baptists and Calvinists take over the various governments. They order everyone executed that ever enjoyed life or read another version than KJ. This leaves about 24 people left alive. They are then given glorified bodies and sit around the heavenly throne in heaven just before midnight Friday night.

I don't know who it was the created the myth that the Mayans predicted the end of the world but I just found out tonight that the Mayans themselves do not believe it. In fact they are laughing at everyone.

Their calender is cyclical. It ends and then starts over again. Tomorrow it ends. That does not mean the end of the world.

Congratulations, you can recognize sarcasm. That being the case, the post makes more sense than yours on a good day.

You interjected yourself into a conversation no one asked you to respond to, and call names that show your character. What I do in real life is none of your concern.

    Actually it has happened already.
