Assassination, Ruination, Broken Promises and Body Snatching...

“As usual, we swim in a pile of dishonorable politicians. An Arab poem describes how the rotten rubbish floats to the top of the water while all the gems - corals and precious fish - stay at the bottom.” (An Arab friend.)
If events of the past few days are anything to go by, the UN-NATO insurgent allies are set to bring a grim, lawless, murderous and fundamentalist future to the “New Libya.”

Polygamy is set to return as the disenfranchisement of women, the West’s new friend and interim leader, Mr Jalil has declared. (He didn’t put it quite like that, but the particular interpretation of Sharia Law he espouses, does.)

A country which had health, education and welfare services of which most could only dream(i) is also set to instantly revert fifty years. Flying King Idris’ flag, Libya is being plunged seamlessly back to his era of illiteracy and neglect.

It will not get better. Britain is already demanding that bombarded, bereaved, largely broken Libya, pay compensation for its “liberation.” No, not satire, see:ii.

    CONTINUE . . .

And leaving the dictator in place to continue to slaughter people and fund world wide terrorism is better?

Where's the proof that Quaddafi (and his now extinct family) were involved in slaughtering people and supporting "terrorism". We've all heard these charges repeated ad nuseum now so show us the evidence that would stand up in court. "Secret" evidence doesn't count.

Who slaughtered more people in Libya? The dictator or NATO and it's radical Al Qaeda laced Islamic allies who are still slaughtering people?

You think maybe being under a constant NATO bombardment is less terrorizing than a plane bombing that Quaddafi was allegedly involved in?

Look at what Libya was a few months ago and what it is today and you tell me is all the death and destruction (blood and human suffering on our hands) worth removing one alleged dictator?

And when did this become about removing a dictator? This was supposed to be a "humanitarian" effort to save innocent people.

Who were these "innocent" people we were supposed to be protecting anyway? The radicals that now run the country??? The same radicals that were funded, trained and armed by our own government? While our government "claims" to be waging a war against terrorism in other parts of the globe it's actually funding, training and arming terrorists and future terrorists with who knows how many surface to air missles in Libya!

Which is worse . . . one (alleged) plane bombing or several hundred planes being downed by NATO's radical allies with Quaddafi's plundered missles?

Which is the lesser of two evils here?

This reminds me of the Iranian leader who denies the Holocaust.

What is truly hilarious is that Poncho calls for evidence that would stand up in court. Consider he:

    1. Routinely presents conspiracy theories with flimsy evidence that would never stand up in court.

    2. Decries just about any government institution as controlled by corporations so I don't understand his penchant for having evidence stand up in court, which is presumably under corporate control and not unbiased.

Not only are you a coward InThe Dark but you are a cowardly liar!

I mean really now, what kind of person hides behind an ignore button and only comes out to toss insults and lies around? The kind that doesn't have game and knows it that's what kind!

Why don't you get real brave and come out of hiding and face me in a another debate? I'll give you all the evidence you can handle. Just like I did the last time we debated and you lost so bad you put me on your ignore list.

Sorry for the mini rant folks I just can't stand a cowardly liar. Especially a bushwacking cowardly liar.

    http://www.baptistboard.com/showthread.php?p=1654483#post1654483

I showed you my proof here after you "demanded" it and as it turns out your proof is nothing but name calling. And this is just one exchange between us.

Check this out folks on page six. http://www.baptistboard.com/showthread.php?t=70427&page=6

This is where InTheDark is buried in more evidence and historical facts than he can handle. So what does he do? He puts me on his ignore list then starts ambushing me all over the board and telling lies about me. Is that the mark of a sore loser or what?

And where are the mods in all this? How is it InTheDark here is allowed to follow me around the board and ambush me like this? Isn't there some kind of rule against cowardly personal attacks?

I recall people being banned for less than this in days past. What's happened to this board anyway? Aren't the rules enforced here anymore?

At least if he had been captured alive and tried there would be a record of evidence brought against him and his defense. This would happen even in a kangaroo court. But now, who knows what really happened? History is written by the winners.

It reminds me of someone dodging direct questions. Answer the questions.

    And . . .

SHOW US THE PROOF! We've all heard the propaganda and fearmongering over and over now it's time to prove these are more than just allegations.

Should be easy for you if indeed they are more than just allegations. Right?

BTW this also reminds of the "incubator babies" story that helped launch the Iraq invasion. It turned out to be a total fabrication. I'll bet you fell for it hook line and sinker though, am I right?

I think the idea here was "dead men don't talk". The last thing the "international community" wanted was for evidence of their own crimes against the people of Libya to become public.

Not that it isn't already. It is but the public mind has been programmed to reject any type of information that doesn't come from the giant corporation's propaganda machine known otherwise as the mass mainstream media.

I know you have a lot of concern over clandestine operations and evil motives, but I am cautious of such speculations. But in regards to recent events, the issue has become an ever-increasing acceptability of open bloodthirstiness in the West for revenge on our enemies. I think we've gotten off kilter. We watch the brutal torture and murder of Gadaffi on the news with a yawn and think "that what he gets for being a ruthless dictator". What we are witnessing is the French Revolution. Mob violence and blood flowing.

Yeah he's been at it for awhile now.

The mods allow it to continue unchecked so I guess it's all approved.
