Makes more sense now after all the "scandals" started popping up, eh?

Here's another video that might make more sense now.

Determined to find the law that requries American citizens to pay income tax, producer Aaron Russo set out on a journey to find the evidence. Neither left nor right-wing, this startling examination of government exposes the systematic erosion of civil liberties in America since 1913 when the Federal Reserve system was fraudulently created. Through interviews with two U.S. Congressmen, former IRS Commissioner and former IRS and FBI agents, tax attorneys and authors, Russo connects the dots between money creation, federal income tax, and the national identity card, which becomes law in May 2008 and will use Radio Frequency Identification (RFID) technology.

This video says clearly that it's NOT anti-Obamka. It's apolitical. It's about the 1% that actually rule America. It's about income and wealth disparity and the destruction of the middle class.

Income for the top 20 percent has increased since the 1970s while income for the bottom 80 percent declined. In the 1970s the top 1 percent received 8 percent of total income while today they receive 18 percent. During the same period income for the bottom 20 percent had decreased 30 percent.

In the 1970s the top 0.1 percent of Americans received 2 percent of total income. Today they get 8 percent.

In 1980 the average CEO made 50 time more money than the average worker while today the average CEO makes almost 300 time more than the average worker.

    As Rev Mitch said ...

Using percentages to represent alleged losses is the biggest con on the market for those wanting to prove a positive is actually a negative. It makes the grossly false assumption that because the top 20% of wage earners have increased their income, it has come at the expense of the lower income brackets. What a farce! Look at RevMitch's linked article, it will prove the fallacy of your assumptions.

Is there a rational argument in here somewhere? I can't find it.

In its premiere episode, Moyers & Company dives into one of the most important and controversial issues of our time: How Washington and Big Business colluded to make the super-rich richer and turn their backs on the rest of us.

Bill’s guests – Jacob Hacker and Paul Pierson, authors of Winner-Take-All Politics: How Washington Made the Rich Richer — And Turned Its Back on the Middle Class, argue that America’s vast inequality is no accident, but in fact has been politically engineered.
