My mother just phoned to say that my nephew (17) has been taken ill in Turkey and is on life support. He is not well enough to be flown back to the UK. His mother is with him and his father (my brother) is on his way out there now.
My parents are elderly and not in the best of health and this news has really shaken them. Please pray.
    Thank you.

    Sheila

Sorry to hear that. I noticed from the dates that this might have been the case, but did want to pray for the family.

    I'm here!! (occasionally)

    Jim,
In the photo you sent of the people standing by the coach, is there any members of the Royal Family?
Also, any idea of the age?
It's awesome! I just sit and look at it!:wavey:

    Gayla,

I just checked with Mary and those photos were taken in 1986 at Easter. The Queen Mum was in the carriage and we were waiting for the Queen to come out. The were off to an Easter parade. The rest around the grounds were aids and all.

The river photo was the Thames River near Tower Bridge (I think). You can tell the age by the mirkiness of the water.

I can't remember photo 3...remind me of what was in it...If they are people riding ponies,,,,that is the actual Easter parade.

    Glad you enjoyed the photos.

    Cheers,

    Jim

We have a policeman here taking a statement from Rob because his car was vandalised a few nights ago. Well, I opened the door to this policeman and I asked to see his ID. He showed it of course, and I examined it. He then told me that I am only the second person to ever ask to see his ID. He pointed to his policecar down the drive and I told him I wasn't interested in his car as he could be anyone driving it. This officer told me that elderly people never ask to see his ID and don't hesitate to let him into their homes.

Elderly people? Hope he didn't mean anything by that :)

Hey Jim I didn't get lost. I just spend more time at my Lutheran board and sometimes forget about my friends. Shame on me.

I spent a couple of days digging my truck out of the 15 inche snow we had. Jan tried to go around the curve in the driveway and got stuck and then backed up and went WAAAAAYYYYYYY to far and ended up in the pasture about 50 yards back. Don't ask me how. Sooooo.................Even my bones ache :)

The Tea Room has been idle for quite some time. Remember, this was a good place to find refuge and just chat. Hope to see you soon, and get this place going again before it is shut down for good.

    Cheers,

    Jim

    Love gardening...

I love gardening and will be back at it in another month or so. I live in Florida and tge weather is so unpredictable this time of year. I am just maintaining the garden now, as I don't know if we will get a freeze or not. So far its been mild this year.

I do love to garden though and watch the masterpiece develope with pretty blooms and colors....

    God bless,

    Hello and welcome.

I love gardening too. What things do you like to grow? I grow fuchsias, herbs and vegetable and I like to try something new every year. This year I am hoping to grow hanging basket carnations.

    Blessings
