Pitcher Chan Ho Park was on the other side of the record when Tatis hit his two Grand Slams in one inning. I believe he was also the pitcher that gave up Bond's historical 755th homer.

It caused me to wonder if there are other pitchers who seem to be on the mound frequently during significant at bats.

Not sure if this qualifies, but Byun Hun Kim gave up game-winning homeruns in the 2001 World Series in 2 consecutive games.

Actually, Clay Hensley gave up 755. He was demoted just after the game (Padres needed extra RP and OF). He was suspended in April of 2005 for using steroids. He served a 15 game suspension.

You're right Tom. I don't know how I got Park's name confused with this. I must have been distracted during Sports Center when they were discussing it. I thought they said Park was the pitcher.

He did give up 8 homers to Bonds in his career.

    Trivia question

Who gave up all the other 750?

    Name 'em!

    Sorry! Couldn't resist the opening.
