The over use of "Justice" to promote personal agenda's

    IN the link below we have some knucklehead who is promoting his love of the metric system. In doing so, he tries to make it a matter of "justice" as if those who do not use the metric system lack some moral ground. The misuse of scripture to support such nonsense is astounding. The author attempts to use the passage:

    “Honest scales and balances belong to the Lord; all the weights in the bag are of his making” (Prov. 16:11)

    This is a prime example of how not to use scripture. The point and context of this passage is that we need to deal with people honestly so as not to steal from them. It is not promoting any particular system of measurement. Tying this passage to one single system and the suggesting pastors should preach about the metric system is absurd.
