And The scenes they are talking about are flashbacks to earlier parts in the Bible. Certian things brought up the memory of those things.

Some people don't want to think that happened. They want the salvation but without the Blood. And i'm sorry you can't do that.

The ONLY thing catholic i Could even SEE in that movie was in front of pilate when they were reading the charges something about how you had to take communion to get to heaven. Which is totally false along with everything else they tried to charge them with.

Some people don't want to see that Mel Gibson can make a spiritual movie. Some people don't want to think that as a Christian community we are closer than we appear. Some don't want the rifts in christainity to be healed so we can come together. Some need strife and pain.

I pray for them. They need it the most.

The movie does not exalt Mary in that manner. But yes, she was in fact a virgin as far as the birth of our Lord. And yes, she is a saint as all believers are. Read your Bible.

You know I apologize for the post above even before anyone answers. I'm letting it stand because you guys have totally lost focus and are turning on each other as a pack of dogs. And we are supposed to be Christan brothers and sisters here. Sure we can agree to disagree but we are supposed to have a adult maturity level. So I apologize for my post if it offends anyone.

 

I stated my objections to this movie, if you'll kindly read back, you will see why I do not approve of this "Hollywood protrayal" of The Life of Jesus Christ. I will not repeat myself. I stated my opinion, and some False Christian Twit started a campaign to smear me in this message board, it's quite obvious he does have some freinds here, or he would have been banned long ago. Which is the obvious fact that there is a Bias on this message board, This is quite alright, I can deal with that, It isn't the first time I've dealt with False Christian twits and it won't be the last.

Be that as it may, look back in this thread and see where I stated why I disapprove of this movie.

I have never contacted you privately and I never will. I can't imagine what you might say in private in light of what you have no problem of saying in public - gross vulgarity and personal threats.

Born standing up for what you believe is one thing. But the Lord is not the author of confusion. Nor under any circumstances is he the advacator of hate. And calling someone a twit or saying they don't deserve thier salvation is not a christian thing to do.

All of this over a movie. It is quite evident that while the Lord can use this movie to minister.Satan is also using it to drive a wedge between brothers and sisters of faith.
