Actually these recent debates prompted me to do a search about frankincense and myrrh. It has been used for thousands of years for every ailment known to man. One of it's uses was for depression and postpartum depression.
One article I read said that may be the reason the Magi gave these spices as gifts to the baby Jesus, to ensure physical health.

Is that all? I mowed the yard, moved some dirt, planted some grass seed, washed, dried and hung up my bedroom curtains, cleaned the litter box, cleaned the kitchen, made dinner, took a shower, checked in on the bb during my breaks, took a shower....now I'm going to sit down. Wheww..I'm tired.

Jim, we're not making fun of you or John. John knows who is on his side. We're just trying to avoid any more judgmental and critical postings by the 2 people who seem to have no compassion for people with mental illness and in fact deny that it even exists.

You dont know these dogs. Two of them just dont cotton to nail clippings & one will rip your hand off if you even try. I did take a nap after...LOL

Nobodies messin with you brother. I grew up with a severely handicapped sister with CP. I also have a niece who was abused by her father who is working thru OCD & a nephew that was abused by a pedophile in his church (he is in treatment) so......

 

Actually Amy, this topic has helped me because i have a couple of people in my church with the same attitude. All of the support from the rational people here on the BB outweighs the negative attitude of the 'two".

There is not much said by most of the members of my church, maybe that is why the two that call me a fake bother me so much. Perhaps, because it is in person that they don't want a confrontation, whereas on here, we can simply log off and forget about FAL and Fred.

But I think in the long run, this discussion will help me deal with negative people in a much better way.
