    The "Sixtus" was the Sixtine Latin Vulgate version of the bible published in 1590 and named for the sponsor of the revision project, Pope Sixtus V.

    The "Communion Book" is what we call the "Book of Common Prayer" today. It is, basically, the handbook for the Anglican faith.
