Pre-mil is not the same as pretrib and no I'm not pre-mil. I hold an amill position.

Spurgeon is interesting, depending on what you're reading from him he seems either pre-mill or even preterist. Pretrib was still in infant stages when he died, so he wouldn't be classified there in spite of pretrib followers best efforts.

You don't get it.

If we are going to debate eschatology then it is rightly presumed that the participators in the debate know eschatology. If we have to tell you what eschatology is (the various ideas of postmil, premil, amil, dispensational, etc...) then you have no business in the debate.

If we are going to debate the color of the sky and the only color with which you are remotely familiar is GREEN- then we cannot debate you. You are not qualified to debate the color of the sky until you learn the rudimentary elements of color.

If we have to TELL you how postmils, for example, support their claims... you have no BUSINESS here.

This is not a lecturing site- it is a debate site which demands that the various parties COME to it with sufficient knowledge to start with.

actually, EVERY system of theology that is within Orthodox circles would agree with that statement, its just that many of us cannot find those Covenants of Grace that reformed would insist are there!

And the Bible is what we filter all our doctrines thru, NOT our system filtering the bible, to make sure to agrees with us!

You ought to Know the verses I would use to support my position and not have to ask me for them because you ought to already be at least familiar enough with covenant theology to know what verses it utilizes IF YOU ARE GOING TO CLAIM IT IS NOT RIGHT!!
