    ..... Year's Celebration.

    Most of us are aware of the Ball Drop in NYC on 31 Dec - 01 Jan.

    Maybe your city/town has its own NY's form of celebration(s).

    Music City USA has the Guitar Drop.

    But, I think you'd be hard pressed to find a more good-ole-boy, redneck-enthusiastic NY celebration than what's been happening in Western NC's Clay County not too far from the city of Brasstown (Where US rts. 64, 74 & 129 converge.), for several years.

    I'ma talkin' bout its world-famous NY's POSSUM DROP [& Beauty Pageant]. :thumbsup:
