God is not surprised or shaken. The gospel is still true. Jesus is Lord. And our calling is still the same. The election of John McCain by the majority of U.S. citizens would not have made us any more righteous than we are now.

America has proved that much longer before last night.

However, as others have stated God is still in control, and we Christians need to get busy ministering at the local level regardless of which party is in power. We need to minister to the poor, fatherless, and sick, and counsel the young girls not to have abortions. We need to model Jesus in our lives, fulfilling the Great Commission, while disabusing ourselves of the notion that the USofA is somehow God's chosen theocratic nation of the new covenant.

 

I believe last night was God's judgment on America for the shedding of innocent blood since 1973 and also the acceptance of sodomy.

In the Bible, every time God gave the people the ungodly ruler they wanted, it was for judgment.

I wonder how long it will be before the people who voted for Obama will admit they were wrong.

Bad times are coming and they will hit ALL of us...

 

How do we know this isn't part of God's plan? I could be wrong, but I believe the end times are VERY close. Maybe we're already there. The calling away of the church (often called the Rapture), the revealing of the anti-Christ, and the 7 year tribulation could be very near. I am ready for the Lord's coming in the air to take us home. "Even so, come, Lord Jesus."
