I commend you for "at the present time", it says to me that you seek to be intellectually and spiritually open. No matter where you go theologically in your life maintain a gentle and humble countenance. Blessings brother.

What is good for the goose is good for the gander.
But I have posted less straw than you have (or the OP has).

Well, as you know, I'm one, and I wasn't offended at all. Now, I think calling some a heretic or blasphemer while trying to be funny is not funny at all. I'll reserve those for more serious discussions.

In the meantime, I reserve the right to make fun at your views and grant you the same right regarding mine.

A performer named Tom Lehrer wrote a funny piece called "The Vatican Rag." You can google it and hear him sing it. Even Catholics should see the humor in this:

    Lehrer:

First you get down on your knees,
    Fiddle with your rosaries,
Bow your head with great respect,
    And genuflect, genuflect, genuflect!

Do whatever steps you want, if
You have cleared them with the Pontiff.
    Everybody say his own
    Kyrie eleison,
    Doin' the Vatican Rag.

Get in line in that processional,
    Step into that small confessional,
There, the guy who's got religion'll
Tell you if your sin's original.
If it is, try playin' it safer,
Drink the wine and chew the wafer,
    Two, four, six, eight,
    Time to transubstantiate!

So get down upon your knees,
    Fiddle with your rosaries,
Bow your head with great respect,
    And genuflect, genuflect, genuflect!

Make a cross on your abdomen,
When in Rome do like a Roman,
    Ave Maria,
Gee it's good to see ya,
    Gettin' ecstatic an'
    Sorta dramatic an'
    Doin' the Vatican Rag

    Like has already been posted.

The OP is quite laughable, until you realize that some have used the very same arguments and boasted the validity of such.
