As for calling me out, exactly who called me out? I simply pointed out that the SwiftVets have not been completely forthright.

I posted several links that document the things that were noted about the SwiftVets by Media Matters for America. I have yet to see anyone dispute their charges.

So, if I understand you correctly, Kerry did NOT serve his country, as noted by my President. Remember: he actually went to Vietnam, although he undoubtedly could have avoided it. However little time he did serve, he still served.

He did serve for 3 1/2 months out of a two year tour.

He left voluntarily after 3 1/2 months.

Several medical officials have testified that, while he was wounded, none of his wounds were severe enough to send him home.

And then there's the matter of what he left Vietnam to do.

He didn't come home to pick up a private life. He came home to become an anti-American radical, stabbing the men he had just served with, many of whom were still there, following through on their committment, in the backs.

We do know that his accusations before Congress were used as propaganda by the Communists and prisoners were tortured because of them.

This does not sound like an honorable man or a good American to me.

And to you, as well.

That is the reason they are afraid of Mr. Bush and the possibility that his Supreme Court appointees will bring an end to this senseless slaughter.

President Bush has never claimed to "represent the Christian community". He's the president, not a religious leader.

Yes, exactly. All, let me see, 51% percent of you. Which leaves 49% of us. Sound's pretty even to me. Oh, by the way, you want to know what the future is? 18 to 30 year olds voted 67% in favor of Democracy. And what about the South? Here in Alabama, Bush got about 65% of the vote. There are alot of rednecks in Alabama. If you don't believe me, come to Alabama. I have grounds to stand on with my statement.

As for winning fair and square, that is not exactly true. I was in Florida in 2000, I voted for President Bush, and was disgusted with both sides after Election Day. Neither side was blameless in 2000.

Murder is unjustified killing. That definition fits the practice of abortion perfectly. It doesn't apply at all to our military actions in Iraq or Afghanistan. If it did, you'd be implicitly calling virtually every President we've had, in recent memory, of murder. It also explicitly calls our servicemen (and women) in action murderers.

This is a perfect example of overblown, irresponsible rhetoric. I absolutely reject it.
