I cannot fathom a life so unenjoyable one resorts to judging people on how they drive.

I cannot fathom why anyone would think it was any of their business how anyone drove, unless they observed someone breaking the law.

I was speaking about our transportation system, not individual drivers. Any system that may take 6000 gallons of gas to move 6000 people 30 miles is inefficient. Currently we are locked into having to use an inefficient system. I would love it if I could ride public transporation on the rare occasions I need to go to Baltimore or Washington, but that isn't possible. This is especially true going to DC. There are buses to Baltimore, but usually not in the evening when I want to go for a concert. At least going to Baltimire I can drive about half-way and take the light rail into the city. How a person drives is a totally different subject.

It's a free country. No one is required to drive to work or anyplace else. People pay their money and make their choice.

Actually, when you single out drivers, and are critical of them for driving alone in a car, you are talking about individuals.

I love the freedom of getting in my truck, driving with just my dog for company, every morning, to have coffee with the crew. Most of them drive by themselves, because their dogs are whimps, not winter-loving huskies, like Tucker.
