I think many people would defend the secret service personnel as honest, brave, upstanding, and honorable. However I am not one of those. The truth is that the secret service is nothing but a NAZI Gestapo type group that is run amuck. When the morals at the top are immoral, even openly so, then the ranks below are just a corrupted. Not only are they now exposed for their rampant lack or morals they pledge themselves to protect an office no matter how corrupt that office has become. I do not call that brave or honorable, but rather deeply confused steeped I corruption. I think we have lost sight of what honor really is.

A dear friend of mine is former secret service for president Reagan and I would bet that he would disagree with you. Just because there are some bad doesn't mean the whole is bad.

Ann I believe that every single person involved with the secret service including those who were involved with this scandal prior to this revelation would disagree with me so your friend who was in the secret service to me has no credibility to make a determination because of being brain washed. I believe that the corruption in that part of the government is so deep and widespread that it would shock even the most liberal.

So you place your uninformed opinion above that of a person who actually has protected Presidents and knows the men involved?

    I hope you're never a juror in a trial.

Well, I will disagree. This man is a believer, above reproach and I have even counted on him to protect my daughter when she had a stalker. I will take his word for it.

[SIZE=+0]First off no that did not even happen. The person you are referring to has not stated such so your argument is void. Second I place what I am seeing above someone who is most likely prejudiced and out of the service with no way to know what is really going on.

There is absolutely no way this many people including supervisors and even military personnel being involved and everyone connected to that service not knowing about it. That means every person who knew, and most if not all knew, was covering up the truth and all hold some responsibility for not making it public and bringing it to the attention of legislators. That means they are not honorable because of covering the truth.

So about me being a juror I always hold the that the state has gotten the wrong person, and they are innocent until proven guilty beyond a reasonable doubt, and believe me, for me the state has to do just that, prove their guilt beyond a resonable doubt, as I do not accept finger prints and so called specialists in forensics as evidence alone. At this point the only stand alone evidence I accept to convict is DNA. I would suggest that you watch this video about trials and so called evidence and not set on a jury unless you know the truth about what is really happening in the judicial system. We have sent way too many innocent people to prison and death all because of being over zealous.

The title of the thread is wrong. It should read "My Opinion about Secret Service Leaders".

You can't take the word of someone who has not stated such. Ann as usual you are making things up. Second he is not part of the service so he cannot contradict the evidence at this point.

You should start a thread with your opinion then, liberal as it would be.

I was at the grocery store the other day, in the produce section. Thought I'd get me an apple or two. But just as I was about to pick up an especially nice-looking apple, I saw another one that was bruised. I quickly left that store, and you can be sure I'll never shop there again.

No reason to 'quickly' leave the store. You won't spoil because you touched a 'bad apple!

Most of us carefully examine the produce and simply don't choose the 'bad apples'.

Certainly the Service should dispose of the bad apples.

However this case is so disgraceful and unprofessional that the leadership of the Service should hold some responsibility for their failure of oversight.

Agreed; but my post was not a comment on the Secret Service.

It probably should read, "Here's My Latest Thread Denigrating the Military, Police, or Any Other Government Entity that has Authority to Carry a Gun."

Since you claim to know the truth, please cite sources that show them to be on par with the Gestapo.

If you cannot, I would refer you to this thread: http://www.baptistboard.com/showthread.php?t=78233

Does "Free" wish to threaten the president or does he wish to counterfeit US money?

This current President is a threat to the freedoms and rights of the citizens of this nation and the Nazi minded Gestapo style secret service go along with what ever any President does. This is why we need a President who will reign the corrupt Secret Service in who now have been unconstitutionally given the authority to terrorize the citizens stepping on their free speech and freedom from searches without cause through their Nazi Gestapo style reign.

Brother, someone has asked you to give cite your evidence that backs up your assertion that the Secret Service is akin to the Gestapo and the Nazis.

Do I personally believe that there is corruption in the Secret Service? Yes. There is and has been corruption in all parts of our government since the government was founded. I also know for a fact and can cite multiple evidences that some American churches are full of corruption. There are home schools, Christian schools, and public school that are corrupt. There are police departments and fire departments and hospitals and law offices that are corrupt.

But here is what else I do know. One does not throw the baby out with the bath water. Christians are to be salt and light in all facets of our daily lives. There are some secular organizations that are working to stop corruption.

One cannot justifiably dismiss all members of an organization as corrupt because part of the organization is corrupt.

If so.... because there IS corruption in all parts of all walks of life, then by your assertion - ALL of us should:
    • stop going to church and disband all churches
    • never seek medical attention again
    • never call for help from the police or fire department or any EMT
    • etc...etc...
    You get the picture.

I believe with all of my heart that America is going straight to hell in a handbasket. We are ALMOST without hope. Our only hope is that the people of God will submit to the God that we CLAIM to believe in and obey Him.

The non-believers out there are just doing what comes naturally to them. And all of the Christians who participate in the consumption of porn, greed, lies, adultery, fornication, substance abuse, neglect of moral duty, neglect of family, neglect of the church, and neglect of God's daily call for us to take up our cross and follow His Son are going to have to answer for the fall of America.

But - with all of that being said - I cannot accept this assertion that the entirety of the Secret Service is morally bankrupt and like unto the Nazi's and their Gestapo unless you have some empirical data for that.

You've been asked now twice to present that data.

We will get NOWHERE as a body of believers in turning the nation around if we do nothing but namecall. Idle accusations, throwing about unfounded opinions as judgments, and mere griping is getting us nowhere.

It has been presented, you just rejected it. You say don't throw out the baby out with the bath water. I say the baby has become contaminated by the bath water. If I would say to you that Enron was corrupt, I am assuming based on your past posts that you probably would say, but it was not all bad. Something does not have to be totally useless to be useless or totally corrupt to be corrupt. It is corrupt when it renders itself corrupt as to its intent and purpose and that is what the secret service has done by their actions in my opinion. They compromised their job and dishonored their service and country and to me that makes them corrupt. For those who decide to defend evil there is no amount of evidence that can be given to prove them wrong. Just because you might find a lump of sugar in the middle of a cow pie does not mean I want to save the sugar and eat it.
In the case of the secret secret service this was not limited to one here or one there in the lower ranks and only this time. This went to the top and filtered down. I think I can say with confidence this was not the first time this happened and by the way not the last unless there is a total sweeping clean of that environment. What we are now seeing is not an isolated event, but rather a culture being exposed. The cover-up was and still is wide spread. If the head is corrupt the whole body is defiled.
Do I think the secret service can be fixed, yes, but it will take a totally reorganization. It is like congress who is corrupt through and through. Are there some who are not corrupt, yes I think so, but they are few. The same with our courts today including the supreme court. No longer do we follow the constitution as given because it has been declared a living document to be changed without legislation. Can this all be corrected? I suppose in theory it could but because of the climate I see no chance of it happening.
Some say we are heading for the cliff. I say we have already went over the cliff and waiting to hit bottom. So what we have is differing opinions. I see no reason to change mine since what I have been saying is all coming to light. I would love to be proven incorrect, but I don’t see that happening as the day of the Lord draws near.
