This is what happens when the "opposition" can't deny or debunk the truth Hopeful. In this case DQ is trying hard to transfer God's authority onto himself to make me and others (or perhaps himself) think he's righteous in judging things he's apparently to lazy or to scared to check out for himself.

Good try DQ but I know all the used car salesmen's tricks too.

The attack of the self appointed mind guards is repulsed once again...and so our hero Poncho fighting the never ending battle for truth justice and the Constitutional American way shows just how weak the opposition's position really is by forcing them to come out of the woodwork to speak.

I can't see any other conclusion to jump to Ed. High ranking "government officials" planned to kill their own innocent countrymen to justify invading another country...it's right there in black and white for all to see. What other conclusion am I supposed to jump to after reading this document, they were planning an ice cream social?

These are strange days indeed my friends. I never ever thought I would see a fellow American actually defending people who would willingly murder innocent folks in cold blood in order to justify going on another bloody unwarranted military adventure. I guess the American mindset really has changed since 9/11 after all. Talk about yer paradigm shifts...black is white, good is evil, up is down, torture is good, due process and habeas corpus is bad...what's next? Will the "good guys" wear black ski masks and carry german submachine guns? Ah, old story, nevermind. "Good guys" already wear black ski masks and carry german submachine guns.

Your garbage gets increasingly more foul-smelling the longer it putrifies. You aren't smarter than the average 5th grader, Poncho. Maybe you'd better stay locked in your room. Someone can shove baloney sandwiches through a crack in the door. And don't set your garbage out next to the curb, okay? Keep it in there with you.

And this is what happens Hopeful, when the "opposition" knows they can't possibly put a reasonable argument together to justify their own justifying of people who would willingly murder innocent fellow citizens to justify unwarranted military adventurism. But on the lighter side...

Hey Ken, lookie here a new sect of Christianity is being showcased tonight right here on Baptist Board...the "jive talkin trash mouth sect". I'm going to have to mark this groundbreaking event down in my calender!

Are you suggesting that our government planned and executed the 911 attacks?

Hundreds of organizations responded to and investigated the WTC attacks. Their conclusion, in all cases, was that Muslim extremists hijacked airliners and crashed them into the World Trade Center buildings, resulting in the collapse of both buildings, and severe damage to nearby buildings.

Here are just a few of the organizations that investigated:

    The 9/11 Commission
The Congressional Joint Inquiry on 9/11
FBI - the largest and most complex investigation in the history of the FBI.
OSHA - 3.7 million work hours.
Air Traffic Control System Command Center in Washington
    American Airlines
    American Institute of Steel Construction
    Building and Construction Trades Council
    Cal Berkeley Engineering Dept.
    Central Intelligence Agency
Council on Tall Buildings and Urban Habitat
    Counterterrorism and Security Group
    Exponent Failure Analysis Associates
    Federal Aviation Administration
    Fire Department of New York
    Georgia Tech Engineering Dept.
100’s of New York City Police Detectives
    Institute for Civil Infrastructure Systems
    Karl Koch Steel Consulting Inc.
National Commission on Terrorist Attacks Upon the United States
National Council of Structural Engineers Associations
National Institute of Standards and Technology (NIST)
National Science Foundation Division of Civil and Mechanical Systems
    National Transportation Safety Board
New York City Department of Design and Construction
New York Port Authority Construction Board
    Society of Fire Protection Engineers
Structural Engineering Institute of the American Society of Civil Engineers
    World Trade Center security staff

And many, many others. What evil genius convinced them all to lie, and to cover up a conspiracy?

Even without federal government complicity the question remains as to who planted the explosives in the World Trade Center and how did they manage to do it?

What explosives? You have yet to prove that any were used.

Sounds like you want a factual answer to a hypothetical question.

There were no explosives. Seismologists at Columbia University Observatory stated, "There is no scientific basis for the conclusion that explosives brought down the towers".

As noted before, there has been no proven use of explosives. None.

Yeah, maybe the numerous people that reported hearing and seeing explosions in the World Trade Center were just lying through their teeth.

    Poncho:
Ah :) I see you are maintaining your weight by
the frequent exercise: Jumping to Conclusions.

It is the "duty of the U.S. military to protect
and defend the U.S. Constitution from all enemies
foreigh and DOMESTIC". It's duty has NOT
changed. It is the duty of high level Officers
(those with Stars /and Naval Equivalents/) to
provide the civilian leadership with summaries
of capabilities and to get the capabilities that
the civilian leaders request. The reason that the
    Generals (and Admirals) are to
provide the civilian leadership with summaries
of capabilities is so the civilian leadership can decide
what to do AS IS THEIR DUTY.
Needless to say, the civilian leadership will
be judged on how good their duty was done.

IMHO nobody should ever know the military/intel options of
capabilities requested by the civilian leadership
or the ones not selected for implimentation by the
civilain leadership. It confuses most people who
can't tell the difference (for example)
between planning a conspiracy and planning a conspiracy
that one can commit. for example, if I get in a conspiracy
to nuke Los Vagas - i have no capability of carrying it
out (PERIOD). I don't even know anybody would
or could do it -- 'would do' is far different from 'could do'.
Both elements HAVE to be present for a conspiracy
to be meaningful. From 1964 to about 1990 the US and
Soviet Union had the capability of destroying all life
(some say only life forms higher than insects) on earth.
But neither one of them had the desire (would) to do so.

Anyway, I agree: the Al'quadi conspiracy to get the USofA's
    goat is the ultimate con.

    Prime directive of a Conspiracy:

    Those who do know do NOT tell;

Probably just a leap of the imagination on your part. One or more explosions in a building on fire does not necessarily indicate the use of "explosives".

In addition, their untrained ear could hear floors collapsing, beams giving way, cans or drums of various chemical compounds exploding, or any one of a dozen other noises, and consider them explosions.

I repeat again. No one at all has proven that explosives were used. No one. At all.

Prove that and then we can discuss who and why. Until then...

No one can prove anything because all the evidence is gone! But maybe I can make you a computer animation.
