    Texans will need a passport? - does the same apply to Mexicans?

    Congressman to Leave DC- and the problem with that is?

    Texas will immediately take over all FAA operations - without unions

    FCC- see above

    Texas will nationalize Fort Hood and will become the Headquarters of of the Texas State Guard - augmented by the Texas National Guard

    NO need for the US Coast Guard, as we currently have the Texas Navy

    Still eligible for SS - We assume that will be taken care of after illegal aliens cases are looked at

    Highway funding - now we can raise the Speed limits to an acceptable limit and seeing we will no longer send our taxes to the US to be wasted, we will have plenty to build even better roads and bridges as we will not have to abide by the many ridiculous US Govt regulations

    Texas will outlaw the barbaric practice of abortion
    Texas will outlaw the immoral practice of homosexual marriage.

    Be advised that Texas will be putting an export tax on all oil being shipped to the United States

    Remember for every additional you come up with - we have at least two things that will benefit us.

    Mexico would not be in rebellion ... big difference. No visa for Texans as long as they are in rebellion. No ex-pat Texans allowed back in. No Texans allowed out.

    He/she would loose their salary and perks. They would never stand for letting Texas go alone. No way Jose.

    There would be no FAA operations as there would be no commercial planes allowed in or out of Texas.

    No need for FCC operations, everything, including the Internet would be jammed.


    Would never happen. The other troops, loyal to the USA would not allow this.

    Who cares how fast you drive or how much gas you waste. Remember no refined petroleum products would be allowed into Texas. No spare parts for auto or trucks, etc.

    Maybe, maybe not. They might add a lot of petty crimes that would be punished by capital punishment. They like to kill people down there.

    So lots of folk who go to church every Sunday will stay in the closet.

    They will collect no taxes as there will be no oil allowed to be exported.

    The whole concept is not only illegal, it is not going to happen. People talk big in theory, but do very little action that will affect their way of life. It is apparant how much will actually get done just by reading the survivalist skills thread. Very, very few on this board have any clue what total anarchy and no infrastructure or government really means. A lot of hot air.

    Texas would have no problem allowing troop loyal to the US to return - as Texas would not be at war with the United States.

    Driving fast - yes - Texans believe in Freedom!
    the US would have to allow auto parts to be exported - they would need the extra money because after Texas and the other States or Commonwealths leave - of what is left will be going deeper into debt.

    Does Texas kill those who commit capital crimes - yes - but it is not murder. That thought of petty crimes is simply ridiculous.

    Either they will A) repent or B) move to the liberal United States

     Until the US needs that oil - which wouldn't be that long.
