You got a good point. I do happen to that the commerical is hilarious.

 

An American preacher once walked downtown with me in our town Asahikawa in Japan. He pointed to an ad with a woman on it and said, "There's J-Lo." I answered. "Who's she?"

Unfortunately, though, Japanese pop culture is worse in some ways. But did American have to foist "Madonna" and "Lady Gaga" on the world? :tonofbricks:

 

I'll keep an eye out for it. But we only watch select shows on American TV and mostly ignore the rest.

 

The commercial, to some, may seem hilarious. But it shouldn't.
Every time I hear that "Mosquitoes refuse to bite him purely out of respect" I see an arrogant man that is being referred to.

 

Don't feel alone, John. I live in America and still don't know what J-Lo looks like.

First time I heard "J-Lo", I thought it was a Jello commercial. :laugh:
