    I have a question;
    When the bible refers to the “word” of God, I know sometimes it is referring to Christ. Does it sometimes refer to the “word” as the written word of scripture? Can someone give me examples of both? Thanks.

    "Strong's" has two pages of entries for "word." Most refer to spoken words by various people.

    Matt 15:16 and Mark 7:13 refer to the Ten commandments (specifically the 5th commandment in this example) as "The Word of God".

    Acts 6:2 Study of the Word of God - scripture

    Acts 18:11 Paul was "teaching the Word of God" - teaching about scripture

    Psalm 119 has many references to the written Word.

    John

    1 In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God. 2 He was in the beginning with God. 3 All things were made through Him, and without Him nothing was made that was made. 4 In Him was life, and the life was the light of men.

    Jesus is the word thatbecame flesh and tabernacled among us. The Word is powerful because it points us to Jesus.
