The world understands at least in part what the church has forgotten I recently received an email from a friend of mine who is about to fly stand-by. On receiving of an e-mailed for itinerary it also had a dress code. While I am apposed to dress codes per-sey for the church I am in full favor of teaching the saints modesty which the world seems to understand that there is at least a standard even if seldom followed. Here is the dress code for this airline when flying stand-by. All pass riders are to ensure that they are dressed appropriately. A pass rider’s overall appearance should be well-groomed, neat, clean and in good taste. Attire should be respectful of fellow revenue passengers, employees and pass riders. The following attire is still unacceptable in any cabin:Any attire that reveals a midriff. Attire that reveals any type of undergarments. Attire that is designated as sleepwear, underwear, or swim attire. Mini skirts, shorts that do not meet3 inches above the knee when in a standing position. Form-fitting lycra/spandex tops, pants and dresses. Attire that has offensive and/or derogatory terminology or graphics. Attire that is excessively dirty or has holes/tears.Any attire that is provocative, inappropriately revealing, or see-through clothing. Bare feet and beach-type, rubber flip-flops. While we are to be salt and light to the world I am afraid that our light has become darkness and the light we are to be shining no longer illumines.
