Historically, Islam took over countries (and still does today or attempts to - look at Nigeria) through force and armed insurrection. They go in the country and are a minority for awhile. Once their numbers grow, they start to take over. This may not happen in the U.S. soon, but I would not rule it out totally for the future.

In fact, Islam is losing on it's home court...

This translation of a televised conversation reveals a rare glimpse into the outlook of Muslim scholars who are concerned about Christianity’s growth. The invited guest is Sheikh Ahmad Al Katani; the president of The Companions Lighthouse for the Science of Islamic Law in Libya, which is an institution specializing in graduating imams and Islamic preachers.

Katani starts off describing the overall problem:
Islam used to represent, as you previously mentioned, Africa’s main religion and there were 30 African languages that used to be written in Arabic script. The number of Muslims in Africa has diminished to 316 million, half of whom are Arabs in North Africa. So in the section of Africa that we are talking about, the non Arab section, the number of Muslims does not exceed 150 million people. When we realize that the entire population of Africa is one billion people, we see that the number of Muslims has diminished greatly from what it was in the beginning of the last century. On the other hand, the number of Catholics has increased from one million in 1902 to 329 million 882 thousand (329,882,000). Let us round off that number to 330 million in the year 2000.

As to how that happened, well there are now 1.5 million churches whose congregations account for 46 million people. In every hour, 667 Muslims convert to Christianity. Everyday, 16,000 Muslims convert to Christianity. Ever year, 6 million Muslims convert to Christianity. These numbers are very large indeed ...
From what I have heard from reliable sources, six million may be too low. Reliable accounts say that one hundred thousand Africans convert to Christianity per day, though not all of them come from Islam. Then Katani says Muslims should build schools before mosques, in order to build the worshipper (Muslim) before the building. Why? To stop the the dangerous “Christian missionary octopus.”

There's a difference between being founded by Christians and being founded on 'Christian Truth'. The US Constitution is about government, not religion.

You are aware, are you not, that an awful lot of Moslems are not Arabic?

    That is seriously paranoid.

Yeah, and a good many of them are Christian.

Many decent and patriotic Americans happen to be Moslem. Say, where do you think coffee comes from, anyway?

    How so?

You have proof of this of course and can name "many" terrorists acts committed by Christians in this country. And of course you can name all the times Christians have caused the "terror alert" to be elevated, etc.
In all of the 4th of July celebrations across this country viewed on TV, I've never seen a hajib in the crowd. Maybe the camera needs to pan a little slower.

    Mine comes from South America.

Daisy may be thinking about some mild Muslims other than Saudi Arabian fundamentalists.
But they are the descendants of the Liar which was mentioned by our Lord in John 8:44.

    Don't be cheated by them.
Even in Cairo there were plenty of attacks by fundamental Muslims.
They distort the truth all the time.

US was founded on Christian belief and I am sure that today's Islam would have not been allowed by them at that time, if they had come to US at that time

I like the Immigration Policy of the Kingdom of God which will prohibit any Islam or Buddhists or Confucianists or Communists, etc.

    I am torn.

Daisy you made some good points - and you made some really bad ones.

I will ignore the bad ones, because they do not warrant a reading, much less a comment.

There are many terrorists in the USA that are not Muslim.

Fortunately, just being American does not make them Christian either. One of your really bad errors that I pray you really do not believe.

Because you can't see the humanity in people who are different from you. You imagine that all "they" are all out to get you.

The "terror alert" is a bogus distracting device. Timothy McVeigh was Christian. The KKK was Christian. Most the massacres of Native Americans were by Christians. The Civil War had attrocities committed on both sides by Christians.

If you're not on TV, you don't exist....

Now (dern ferrinners), but where did the plants and the beverage come from originally?

I live today, based on lessons from the past. Today there is a "terror alert" because Muslim terrorists have killed, and have planned to kill more.

I don't believe Native Americans need to fear massacres today -- from other tribes or whites. I don't believe the KKK is hanging blacks today -- and I hope their remnants fade into nothingness. I don't believe Timothy McVeigh was operating under the auspices of any religion -- nor do I accept the rumor there was al Al Qaeda connection.

Nor do I believe hyperbole adds anything to a discussion. We call it chasing rabbits instead of following a thread of debate.

Sorry, but so much of this still sounds defensive, not acceptance of diversity.

The discussion isn't about people who are different than me. The discussion is about people who want to change the host country they emigrated to so it will become like where they emigrated from, enslaving under sharia law.

No imagination needed. They are - based on their religion and what their quran says - "kill the infidels." They have and do - by the millions - ever since mohammed.

Here's a link about the "religion of peace." & the monthly jihad report for July, 2006:

    Jihad Attacks:
    185

    Dead Bodies:
    1368

    Critically Injured:
    2780

Today and every day since 9/11. We killed them back and then some.

Oh, today...well, it's been some years now since there was a Moslem attack on American soil (unless you consider Iraq to be American soil now). Not all attacks by Moslems are religiously based, either. More than a few are about territory.

What part are you claiming is hyperbole?

Read her posts and tell me they are not mostly about how "they" are out to get "us".

Whether McVeigh was Christian or not (and I sort of doubt it), his act was not in keeping with the Bible.

The KKK is most certainly not a Christian organization! In fact, most white supremacists belong to a cult of Christianity (it has many heresies) called Christian Identity.

The worst massacre of Native Americans in the U.S. was between two Native American tribes. Again, killing of Native Americans by Christians is not due to biblical Christianity. The principles of Christianity led Wm Penn to make peace with Native Americans.

Civil War atrocities: Again any atrocious actions are not sanctioned by the Bible.

Wellllll at least you agree that it was a Muslim attack on the USA . . . I was starting to wonder where you were on the 11th of September . . .

Daisy . . . please move from sympathy (oh those poor dying muslims) to empathy ('we poor dying muslims need to rid ourselves of evil islamic regimes that kill the innocent and bring destruction to us).

Help them and us remove their and our worst enemy.
