It takes a lot of nerve for you to call anyone rude.

In other words, you can dish it out, but you can't take it. My advice is, if you can't take the heat, get out of the kitchen. :wavey:

Its ironic how fast some will jump all over you as has been demonstrated on this very thread.

    I'm sorry for that.

It is truly a sad thing that especially on Baptist Board there are more people who will yell, accuse, and make horrible blanket statements per square pixel than on all the other boards I post on. Sad testimony.

Tim, you're a good guy. Do what you got to do. I'd suggest break. This place is just downright mean sometimes.

You do realize that an upside down flag is a legal way of flying it, don't you?

    Tim,

I for one, don't want to see you leave. Your words of wisdom mean a lot to me when I read them. If you do go, you will be missed.

I understand your wanting to leave. If one looks back at this board over the last few years, you can see it took a turn for the worse. It became less of a fellowship place and more of a fighting forum... like another one we all know about.

The new owner seem to never be around, things go un-noticed and the "right" and "left" pulls so hard they can't even see they are both pulling apart the very thing they long to keep.

There have been MANY long time, good, reasonable posters that have wanted to leave or have left and that should be a wake up call that things around here are running amuck.

Let's hope you stay and let's also hope that people will begin to wake up and see that a place of proper debate and fellowship set a much better example to Christians and non-Christians that visit this site. It's not always about the thread or the point, it's about the example we set for others lurking about.

Good luck with whatever you decide!

    Jamie

AMEN! 'Tis why many fade into the background. Been there, done that, TT! We've all gone thru it and each of us has to decide the best course of action. Me? - try my best to realize that the other person can't see my facial expressions, nor hear my tone of voice. If that person chooses to take offence or get on their high horse - it's their problem and in God's hands; I'm trying mightily not to prolong an argument or confrontation.

Take a short vacation TT, come back rested with more of your wisdom!

Me? thought you'd never ask: I don't let the immaturity of other posters bother me the way they are bothered so easily by others.:love2:

Are we off topic, or doing what the topic says?

Correct Jim! If Salamander had bother or cared to notice, he would have known that. Instead he wants to be the cause of exactly what Tim is speaking of.

I don't know the situtation or anything about it other than a few days ago someone asked for us to pray for Mark, and I have done so. That might also be a reason as to why he is flying it upside down.

Mark and I don't always agree, in fact I would say we disagree more than agree but that doesn't stop me from praying for a brother when asked to.

It is NOT disrepestful to fly a flag upside down.

In mourning we fly it at half staff. The distress is for a nation and not a person.

    Cheers,

    Jim
