Time for the UN to Leave America

    We the people fund the vast majority of the budget of the UN. We subsidize diplomats and their staffs from about 180 nations, most of whom hate us. The UN accomplishes about as much as Congress, nothing. They pass anti-American resolutions, vote for worthless sanctions, and basically waste money and air. When they do manage to get a force together, they accomplish two things, they take away our sovereignty, and put our troops in harms way without any plan or purpose.

    I cannot think of one positive thing about an organization paid for by Americans that is nothing but a club that hates Americans. We let leaders of our most vile enemies like Iran onto our soil to give him an international audience to make a case for his terrorist agenda.

    It is time to cut off all funding for the UN, kick them off American soil, and withdraw our membership.

    Oh, SN, I have been saying that for years. So have others.

    Not trying to derail your thread, SN, but I see a scenario where one day (in line with Biblical prophecy about Babylon which means "confusion"), the UN will move it's headquarters to the US Embassy in Iraq which we spent $592-million on and costs approximately $1.2 BILLION a year to operate, said to be 80 football fields long, a 104 acre complex, larger than the Vatican. If that is the case, as per Bible prophecy, it will be used to engage against Israel. Being as the UN is being taken over by countries hostile to the US, including the Security Council, it seems like it will one day be a logical move as the UN takes over more and more power all over the world. Just sayin'.

    I want the UN out and the US out of the UN. If they want to go to Baghdad that is fine but in my opinion that has nothing to do with Bible prophecy!

    Well, I agree, I want the US out of the UN and the UN out of the US. I was just thinking out loud, Old Reg.
