I will sign but I honestly don't think this will lower our prices because we still live in a "free enterprise" market, which I love. The only thing that will drop prices will be to get away from oil completely.

Increasing the supply of oil will certainly result in lower prices than what they will be if the supply of oil is not increased.

I disagree somewhat! You need oil. I can charge whatever you're willing to pay. I understand that we have a supply issue right now but unless this new supply is cost controlled by Government (which I do not recommend) it will be just like high cost for doctors visit. Will an increase of Doctors help reduce cost of healthcare in America? It might at first but in the end, they want all they can get for their services to you as well. Drilling here is Great! Don't misunderstand me. I will be the first to go to Alaska and this increased supply will help short term. We need to get away from Oil ASAP! If we didn't need oil how much more stable or independent would our country be?

Your desire for ASAP is likely at least 20 years away.

I surely would like to see the price drop. However, it is all the more important that we get off of our dependence on Middle East oil. As it is some of our oil dollars are going directly to fund the terrorists that we are trying to fight. It is crazy...

Very little of the oil that we import comes from the Middle East and the bulk of that small amount comes from Saudi Arabia.

The United States should only grant citizenship to those who want to embrace American values and culture. (68 to 29)

It seems to me that this question doesn't make any sense because one of America's greatest values is freedom and the right to express different points of view. Who then can determine what "American values" are?

Affordable Gas Price Act (HR 2415).

<FONT face="Times New Roman">This legislation protects the American people from gas price spikes by suspending the federal gas tax whenever the national average gas price exceeds $3.00 per gallon. The Affordable Gas Price Act also expands the supply of gasoline by repealing the federal moratorium on offshore drilling, including in the ANWR reserve in
