If my count is correct he referenced himself 16 times by using, "I", "me", "my".

    Telling.

That may be true ... but then there are some on the board who use self reference in a covert way

Rolf wonders how someone could refer to oneself without using "I, me, my". He thinks that it would be difficult.

Rolf..., consider the original..., in part.

Recently I had a hour Skype chat with someone from this board on Lordship Salvation. Surprisingly he was asking questions and was sincere in his interest. It was not a debate but a time for him to ask me questions. After our chat he went out and bought The Way of the Master book, and also has plans to purchase The Gospel According to Jesus. Unlike most of the posters on this board he's sincere in his interest.

I am always willing to answer questions on Lordship Salvation, Biblical Evangelism, or what not from those that are honestly looking for answers. Perhaps you may not agree with my answers, but at least you are approaching me as a student/journalist/researcher. Like all new people I do not do Facebook nor do I phone, so conversations will have to be on one of the IM services such as Skype, Google Talk, Yahoo Messenger, or AIM.

Both me and this individual agree that this is a unhealthy board, and so I am not spending much time here anymore, hence I may not even check my PM box as I am just about fed up with this place and all the backbiting, and unchristian attitudes being displayed here. So if you are a sincere listener you are welcome to send me a Instant Message on AIM and my name is evangelist6589. NOTE I do not check email on this account as its a IM only account. Got a new job and I do not have anymore time for the nonsense that goes on in here as I need to keep my stress down and surround myself with people that care, not backstabbers, and backbiters.

All one has to do is re-structure. Such as..., "A recent opportunity presented itself wherein a chat via Skype ensued...etc.
...It was not a debate but a time for him to ask questions.

...and so it goes. You just point the finger elsewhere.

    Translation:

I have the Bible answers. Students and other seekers of the truth may find me on the internet's equivalent of AM radio. You may call me Hank Jr. from now on for I am "The Bible Answer Man Jr."

    Evangelist -

This is not a plea for you to return; that is entirely up to you.

Yes, you post some good ideals, however when you post a bad ideal, you seem to get easily offended, when confronted. Also you love to give advice but hate to take it.

I do not know your age ( I'm guessing you are in your 20's) but I have a hunch I am a good bit older then you. Even at my age, I am continuing to learn. Yes, it is hard to admit I am wrong (especially this ole dog) but I have found others can always teach me something.

Of course, there are some thing that I would NEVER compromise on- and we should stand firm.

But it appears that you believe that WOM is the ONLY way to witness. For some - it may be. But it must fit the Christian and the person being witnessed to. Every person is different and reactions are not the same.

I still don't realize why you think this forum is unhealthy. I have learned much, and will continue to learn. I have met some great folks here. Some I have met in person - others I have talked to on the phone. And many just by PM/Email.

E- you just need to chill out a little

As my Dad used to say - A word to the Wise is sufficient.

    My sincere gratitude
However, I noticed I had to go back and correct a few grammar errors.
