To drum or not?

    BUT , Could you get up in front of the congregation and spritually bless others with just a set of drums like you could with other musical instruments?

    I voted yes... but I am also a drummer, so that could make me somewhat biased! [​IMG]

    I do not see a reason why drums/percussion can't be used... as long as it is done tastefully. A non-sensitive drummer can totally wreck a song. We drummers should focus on the INTEGRITY of the song and of course, Him who we are directing the song to. [​IMG]

    Yes. Drums on occasion but not every Sunday.

    Drums are a good enhancement for both hymns and P&W. A good drummer will know when to play and when not to.
    We use drums and a keyboard, and it sounds great.

    Why? The apostles applied the Psalms to Christian doctrine and practice, didn't they? Just read Paul's letters.

    So why shouldn't we follow their example?

    Drums are OK if they are not to loud.
