to read or not to hal lindsey book

    once and for all is he reliable?is he christian?i brought his book "the rapture" and im confuse if im going to read it or not :confused:

    Pure Fiction. Don't read it for doctrinal accuracy.

    However - I think Hal Lindsey is a Christian.

    Yes. If the requirement for Christians was to be right all the time, we'd all be doomed!!!

    Any book about future events, be it the rapture, the prophecies of Nostradamus, economic trends, or the establishing of Starfleet, are sheer speculation.

    Many years ago, in a galaxy far, far away, I was briefly a devotee of Hal. I got better and now wouldn't waste my time. (I still catch him on TV occasionally to see if he's changed; he hasn't.)

    Well, I like reading him but I don't find myself hanging on his every word. But what bothers me about this guy is that he seems to recycle his books every coupla years or so. Says the same thing, only updates it.
