Today We Lost Our Little Friend!

    I understand completely. We rescue dogs and have had as many as 18 in house at once. Many were so abused they only lived a short time. A year ago, I sat on the floor with my rescued Black German Shepherd and held him until he died early morning. He is the only pet I actually buried on my property....and visited his grave every day.

    That Was an Act of Love...

    ....you sending flowers was a sweet, loving touch. That is what being one in Christ is all about.

    You Sound Like A Wonderful Person...

    ...that was so special to read. Having sat with both my Mom and Dad at there time of passing, and now several pets (stopped putting them down about 10 years ago, as it seemed more loving to let them pass in the place they knew and loved, with those who loved them too), takes a special person.

    We now have two plots at the local pet cemetary. The one was filled to overfill, so Eli is in the new plot, next to his other brothers and sisters.
