    I watched a bit of it and was amazed that anyone can take either of them seriously. This is the second coming of Laurel and Hardy I think. I think this campaign will quickly turn very negative, and Biden will be making verbal gaffes within a week that will cost the campaign very greatly.

    This may have been the worst choice Biden could have made out of his short list. He got a known quantity with a record that will follow him and it won't be positive.

    I can't imagine a scenario in which they win. I think McCain would have to make a severe stumble both with his campaign and his VP choice.

    And I wouldn't have said that previously. But I think this cements in people's minds everything that is wrong with Obama. No ideas. No leadership.
