If anything I will support the impeachment of anyone in the bush culture because of the multi-billions wasted and unaccounted for. This has been the worst job the free press has done in not following this story and by following the money into the hands of modern day judas's.

Blackwater is a private army for hire.
[IMG] In 1997, Erik Prince founded Blackwater, expanding the family's Christian conservative empire into private security and war for hire. Erik is a former U.S. Navy SEAL and son of the late billionaire automotive parts supplier, Edgar Prince.

I see that the liberals are out in full force in their attempt to regain power this November.

And yet, there are still billions of our tax dollars that were handed over by Paul Bremmer in Iraq which the GAO says is unaccounted for.....and what about those cruises bought with FEMA funds from Katrina?

Frankly, I'm tired of it all. It's not even worth wasting the gasoline to drive to the voting booth. There's not much daylight between the GOP and Democrats.

A superbowl party only super for a war profiteer!

    http://news.yahoo.com/s/ap/contractor_fraud_claim;_ylt=Aspb_SnYd4v931D.RzkifCoDW7oF;_ylu=X3oDMTBhcmljNmVhBHNlYwNtcm5ld3M-

    Super snippet:
McBride was hired by KBR in 2004 as a "morale, welfare and recreation" coordinator at Camp Fallujah, a Marine installation about 35 miles west of Baghdad. She was fired the next year after making several complaints about KBR's accounting practices, the suit says, and was kept under guard until she was escorted to an airplane and flown out of the country.
    Halliburton denied McBride's allegations.
"The claims included in this lawsuit clearly demonstrate a complete misinterpretation of facts as well as a lack of understanding of KBR's contractual agreements with its customer," said company spokeswoman Melissa Norcross in an e-mail to The Associated Press.
The Super Bowl incident occurred in January 2005, the suit said. "McBride witnessed a large amount of food that was ordered specifically for a Super Bowl party for the military" taken instead to the company's lodgings. "About 10 large metal tubs full of tacos, chicken wings, (and) cheese sticks were taken from the military party site to a KBR camp for a KBR Super Bowl Party for KBR employees," according to the complaint. A widescreen TV was also removed.
McBride worked 12-hour shifts, seven days a week, at Camp Fallujah's recreation center, where the government was billed according to the number of soldiers using the contractor's facilities, which included a weight room, video games, Internet cafe, a library and phone bank, the suit says. She alleges that KBR deliberately overstated the number of military personnel using its services by counting the same person several times. For example, a person who used a computer was counted as one. If that person went on the weight room, another count was added to the list of patrons.
"It wasn't double-dipping, but triple dipping or even quadruple billing," the suit claims

Keep in mind, this always goes on. But suddenly, the GOP found that they had control of all three branches of government, with no one to stop them.

And so they became the democrats. But give them credit, they are much more efficient at corruption than the democrats.

This is what happens when power is unrestrained.

I agree it has always gone on but to the degree and multi-billions I think it is what will bring down the bush culture and it is the righteous one to pursue since billions have been wasted and used to deceive the taxpayer it would be the one that would get bi-partisan support. Like I said it has been under reported by the media but if Bill Clinton was in there it would be a constant monsoon every day. I think if it be Gods will that our government is brought back into balance with honest brokers and checks and balances restored then I think bush must either resign or be impeached. imho

KenH Mr. shifting sands you misquoted me but that's normal

silly ...I am dead serious...bush has a chance to be impeached it is not a far flung idea ..but I can understand how those who shift positions a lot and are idealogues will try to quench that notion as it gains momentum. The landscape will change and Republicans must share power again and checks and balances become the framework of our nation again in a strong way.

Multi-billions have been wasted and Americans ...especially the middle class may want a true accounting. It...imho...is the strongest area that will destroy the bush culture and legacy and put him in the category of
    other corrupt Presidents.

It is getting smaller and smaller for bush the only thing that will save him from last place among Presidents is the capture or death of bin laden and asking his father for help...rumor is James Bakker is planning an intervention concerning the Iraq Occupation...lets hope if that is true and he is successful.

btw LASSIE IS DEAD ...LONG LIVE RIN TIN TIN  [IMG]

    1) FYI, I hope the Democrats win control of both houses of Congress this November.

    2) President Carter has last place pretty well locked up.

More on Iraq for sale with commentary from Janice Karpinski

    [IMG] Bio
Former Brigadier General Karpinski is passionate about justice and her country. A critic of the lack of oversight in Iraq, Karpinski was stationed at Abu Ghraib Prison during the infamous torture of prisoners there.

When photographs of the torture were shown to her, picturing plain clothed interrogators, Karpinski began to put the pieces of the puzzle together: “I became aware of this, these CACI interrogators on the 23rd of January 2004 when I saw the photographs for the first time. And I said to the commander of the criminal investigation division, who was showing them to me, I said, ‘Why are the translators around the prisoners? Why are the translators in the cell block?’ And he said, ‘Ma'am, those aren't translators. Those are CACI interrogators.’ I said, ‘Translators?’ He said, ‘No, interrogators.’”

Karpinski recently published a book One Woman's Army: The Commanding General of Abu Ghraib Tells Her Story and speaks around the country about her experiences.

snippet:Stand proud for true patriotism and hold a screening of Iraq For Sale: The War Profiteers during Profits Over Patriotism week.
One of the questions I am asked most often in speaking at locations in the US and international locations relates to complacency. The question cuts across all ethical, religious, age, sex and income brackets.

People want to know why Americans accept the way things are and the direction this country is moving - why aren't Americans living up to the right to free speech and the right to disagree? Our history is replete with incidents of famous, infamous and anonymous Americans speaking up and speaking out against opinions, decisions and laws especially those affecting the way we live and think. Why not now?
I am asked this question often and repeatedly and I hear the frustration and fear in Americans' voices. I am never really sure if they want the answer because it is all too obvious to me. We are complacent because we are afraid and we are ashamed. Our actions, this administration's actions, raped Iraq of every chance of freedom and democracy. We are the invaders. We are the occupiers. We are the torturers. And we are ashamed.

So many hands in the cookie jar ...I think Iraq and profiteering is the one of the least reported events but will catch up with the bush culture and imho the American people in righteous indignation will want an accounting of multi-billions wasted and the lining of pockets of the bush culture of cronyism.

Soldiers insulted jobs outsourced to War Profiteers

    http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=lg74xX9e1Pg

This goes so far beyond incompetence, it's deliberate misappropriation of the tax money that you and I pay to the US government for the protection and upkeep of our country. It's theft, organized and implemented by the Bush administration and their corporate buddies. Deliberate fraud and war profiteering are impeachable offenses. So, what do we do now?

I don't think the Navy Seals are noted for being liberal.

It just could be that this film portrays the truth, and some just don't want to accept it.

And there is still three trillion dollars "missing" from the pentagon. No one is talking about that either.

I think this is known as defrauding the United States and falls under title 18 of the U.S. code. Of course the democrats are to busy gearing up for their turn to carry the ball for the trilateral/CFR agenda to investigate their republican trilateral/CFR teamates who have been carrying the same ball for the last few years.
