DO NOT look up the answers to these questions. Let's see how many you can get correct.

    1. The 10th president of the U.S. has two living grandchildren.

    2. When you get a kidney transplant, they usually just leave your original kidneys in your body and put the 3rd kidney in your pelvis.

    3. If you melted down the Eiffel Tower, the pool of iron would be less than 3 inches deep (in a square area the same dimensions as the tower base).

    4. The brother of John Wilkes Booth saved Abraham Lincoln's son from being hit by a train without knowing who it was he saved.

    5. If you have 23 people in a room, there is a 50% chance that 2 of them have the same birthday.

    6. The total amount of gold in the world, if fitted into one solid structure, would easily fit on a football field, and be less than 20 feet high.

I know # 6 is true. I'd have to cheat to get the rest.

I'm going with all true, except maybe the kidney oneā€¦..perhaps even that one's true.

They'd have to connect a kidney to something, right? Seems logical they'd have to take the old one out to do that.
How you gonna pee if they don't?
Guess they could connect it and leave the other one there, but why would they?

Now I gotta go look it up, but I don't know if I want to know. Maybe they add extra, human made tubes in case the other one has partial function or starts working again. Wouldn't that be fun. Super kidney function all of a sudden. Mega-filtering of fluids. You'd have the cleanest out-put in the land. Especially if you had two new kidneys and both old ones started working again. LOL

I am now wiser than I was this morning.

And I'll probably weigh a little less this evening, because I'm suddenly not hungry after that picture.

The only one I know for sure is true is No. 2! I have 4 aunts and 2 cousins who have all had kidney transplants. :)

Fun quiz! It will give me some subject matter for googling this afternoon.

They are all true. I should have put some false ones in there as well.

Being a US history buff, I did know the answer to Question #4. Edwin Booth (John Wilkes Booth's brother) did save Abraham Lincoln's son Robert from being killed by rescuing him from being hit by a train in Jersey City, NJ, in the 1860's.

Yes, that is the only one in the quiz I knew (for sure) was true.
