Matthew chapter 23 mentions a lot of conservative "values" in that particular chapter, LadyEagle. You oughta check into it.

Hey, Ken, I only said I would welcome your links from other conservative sources.

But feel free to post liberal ones if you trust them more. [IMG]

Revisionists are long on theories and on "research" which consists of quoting each other, but short on real history. I think Gordon Prange's analysis (At Dawm We Slept), of the comedy of errors that caused General Short and Admiral Kimmel to be asleep and that delayed the war warning that Washington SENT, is real history. Anyone who served 20+ years in the military as I did, can easily believe the comedy of errors that led to Pearl Harbor. The real comedy was the strategic decision of the Japanese to attack us, period. Had they not attacked Pearl and the P.I., we would have clucked and huffed and done nothing. Two months before Pearl, the Congress came within one vote of ending the draft and disbanding the Army! The Japanese, as Yamamoto is quoted as saying, did nothing but "wake a sleeping Tiger and fill him with a terrible resolve."

Seven months later, it was the Japanese Navy's turn to be "the gang that couldn't shoot straight," which Prange also does a masterful job of analyzing (Miracle at Midway).

That is such a silly, false statement. Conservatives are no more reliable when it comes to the truth than are liberals. The following passage of Scripture gives no exemption for conservatives:

Romans 3:10-18 (ESV)
as it is written:

"None is righteous, no, not one;
[11] no one understands;
no one seeks for God.
[12] All have turned aside; together they have become worthless;
no one does good,
not even one."
[13] "Their throat is an open grave;
they use their tongues to deceive."
"The venom of asps is under their lips."
[14] "Their mouth is full of curses and bitterness."
[15] "Their feet are swift to shed blood;
[16] in their paths are ruin and misery,
[17] and the way of peace they have not known."
[18] "There is no fear of God before their eyes."
</font>
OK Ken how about this. Conservatives are less likely to lie than liberals.

These verses pertain to all mankind, making no case for any group.

Lying has been rampant from the leftists during this administration, and the right has not been anything like that.

This thread has successfully been derailed to a discussion about who lies the most, conservatives or liberals:

And I think you started it with this, and I quote from a post of yours on page 2:

"I would welcome your links from other conservative sources."

Derailment started on page 1.

From your post on page 1, Ken:

Please show links from either conservative OR liberal sources which prove your allegations that what I've posted about Pearl Harbor, MacArthur, or Bataan are untrue. It's a simple request, really.

You've to one extend or another described just about every person who ever occupied the oval office. </font>
You like to knock Americans and Christians in my opinion. FDR was not much account. Southern Baptist Harry Truman is more admirable as a Democrat. Reagan was a good President and President George Herbert Walker Bush was one of the finest ever.

:confused: I'm both, and a dedicated one of both, I'm told.

I'm at a bit of a loss that I'm being accued of "knocking" Americans and Christians when I'm in fact one of the people who is attempting to dispel the anti-american conspiracy theorist attitude of the OP.
