    That is a great response to a statement nobody has made. The gunmen were to blame because they were criminals. Full stop. That being said I hope my city isn't on Gellar's nationwide trolling tour. If someone goes out to pick a fight, they will usually find it and it won't be Gellar that has to face the consequences. It will be another security guard, or a janitor or maybe she gets a bigger response this time and we have a larger casualty event. Again, it's Could I vs. Should I.

    Also, if you start calling them Jihadists then they have already won. You are paying them a compliment by using that term.

    Becoming a Jihadist is what the insurgent cells recruits strive to achieve. Calling them jihadists validates their cause as a just holy war.

    Call them criminals, murderers, terrorists, whatever. I'm not calling those people jihadists. They are not fighting a holy war and I refuse to validate their claim that they are doing so.

    OK, I'm going with UoT's military experience and judgment here and as the OP I'm asking that "Jihadi" be changed to "Terrorist" in the thread title.

    A thought occurred to me this morning: Where are all the anti-gun nuts?

    A kid shoots up a school, and we see it go to the edge of legislation and executive orders.

    A couple of terrorists shoot up an event, and ... crickets.
