    You can spread that barnyard crap about how much you care about the poor, sick, and downtrodden, as thick as you want. But that is all it is, barnyard crap, because anyone who supports the slaughter of the unborn and the democrat-party-of-death doesn't care for anything.

    You prove what I say above by continuing to accuse Republicans of not caring about trafficking victims but not a single word of condemnation from you for the democrats who don't care for the victims of trafficking or the unborn child. All you and they care about is the power of a Marxist state!

    The rider to the bill does nothing, sadly, to stop or hinder abortion but YOU CRABTOWNBOY and most democrats have sold your soul to support BAAL'S altar for the slaughter of the unborn child that word, 'ABORTION', itself has become sacred to you!

    targus, it was written during the previous Congress. And reissued during the new Congress. The Dems say they were told by the GOP that nothing had changed at the time of the reissue but the GOP added the abortion funding language.

    The Dems took their word that they hadn't changed anything. But they are still responsible for reading bills and should know what's in them before giving their okay.

    The Democrats did not add the poison pill to the bill. So, no, it is not the Democrats fault the poison poll was added.

    If the GOP really wanted the anti-human trafficking bill to pass they would not have added a killer clause.

    Old, why do you continue to support a party that cares nothing for the living, other than the super rich ... a party that continues to pass or try to pass legislation that harms people, like taking away benefits from workers hurt on the job, or reduce or eliminate programs that feed hungry children ... on and on and on.

    Old, I do not support abortion and neither do you. I support helping people in need, you do not. You are not pro-life, only pro-birth and once born you do not care how terrible their life is and you want no help for them.

    If the rider does nothing, then way did the GOP add it?

    I said earlier on this thread:
    Because they did not want taxpayer money funding the slaughter of the unborn child. But you do, otherwise you would condemn the democrats for not supporting this bill to help stop trafficking of humans. Furthermore, Crabby, you prove that all that stuff you post about caring for the poor, the sick, and the downtrodden is barnyard crap or you would condemn the democrats for not supporting a Law that would help these very people you falsely claim to care about.

    That is seriously short-sighted and narrow-minded of you.

    The Dems could have easily passed it, then dialed back provisions of it later. They could have easily passed it, and let Obama veto it.

    The GOP really wanted it to pass; they knew they would meet opposition from the Dems. The GOP may have poisoned it; but it was the Dems who killed it.

    Still not dead, the Democrats are filibustering it but it's getting in the way of the Loretta Lynch confirmation vote.

    The entire bill was published publicly on January 13th but the Democrats just noticed it last Monday and that's what's "dumb" here. The abortion language was on page 4, so the moral of the story could be not to co-sponsor and vote on a bill you can't be bothered to read beforehand.

    Are you saying it is OK to support the Democrat Party, acknowledging the evil and immorality that they openly embrace as a platform, because the Republican Party is also immoral? Or are you saying we shouldn’t support either? If the latter, then I see your point.
