UBUNTU and BASIC

Would like to run BASIC on UBUNTU. I can find stuff on google but I can't seem to unpack them. Anyone out there running BASIC on UBUNTU? (I am not computer friendly)

Try DosBox or Wine, I think it's in the repo's

You could give GAMBAS a try. It may even be in the repositories. Or get it at Sourceforge.
