No kidding. Awful insulting and abrasive for being on a Christian forum.

As for me not knowing anything about Area 51... that's exacly my point. I don't know anything about it at all, nor does anybody else here. Yet, I've got multiple people telling me that the government cannot keep any secrets. Both cannot be true. I'm not saying it should be open to the public but at the same time, you just cannot say they can't keep secrets then admit that Area 51 is in the ultimate cloud of secrecy.

Not that I want to keep this JFK stuff up in this thread, but just to show how wrong you are, look at the pictures of the recovered bullet and tell me it's not in near perfect condition. The rear view shows that it's dented a little in the very back, there are rifling marks... and that's about it. The only nick on the bullet was actually caused after recovery where the FBI took a small piece for analysis.

"Dr. WECHT: Commission exhibit 399...a side view...shows the copper jacket to be completely intact, unscathed with no deformity, mutilation or markings...
The small defect at the tip is where a piece of metal was properly taken by the FBI for spectographic analysis...

...the nose, the penetrating portion of the missile which is completely unmarked and without any scathing at all...

...the base of the bullet which is the only area of deformity, what I would refer to as some flattening with indentation of the metallic rim and focal extrusion of the inner lead core. That is the only deformity. "

How much closer to perfect could it be?

The most dishonest proglogues are those that claim the speaker doesn't want to say what he is about to say ["I hate to say this, but...."]. If the prologue were true, the remark would not be said.

It's not in near perfect condition.

There could be no dents and rifle marks; that's how much.

Ok, back to the original susbject. I do not believe in little green men flying UFO's to earth. IMO, UFO's have a perfectly reasonable explaination, but because most of us humans don't know what that explaination is for sure, we feel the need to make up sensational answers so our poor little brains don't explode while trying to figure it out.

There are many things we will never know until we get to heaven. Why do we feel the need to know everything? Or to explain the unexplainable? Or to argue when we have no definate proof exect our own opinion? All I know is this: we have a great big wonderful God who is more awesome than we can imagine. I trust him to protect me from the scary realm of unexplained mysteries, and I trust him to reveal his reason for those mysteries in his own time.

I agree that there are a lot of things that we will never understand. Personally, I don't think UFOs are one of those. If they are from an advanced race living somewhere else in the universe it might be difficult to track their spacecraft and to gather knowledge about them but I don't believe it's impossible.

You cannot shoot a bullet out of a rifled barrel and not have rifling marks. I'm not saying it wasn't shot, but it's almost like they used a bullet that they shot out of that rifle into gelatin.

They did a show on MythBusters and all they did is shoot bullets into water with various high powered rifles and even full metal jackets were busting up into several pieces and flying apart in less than two feet due to rapid deceleration.

So how did a bullet shot out of a high powered rifle rip through all of that skin, bone, clothes, and flesh, without picking up any markings or imperfections on its tip, and decelerating so fast that they were able to recover it? That bullet should have mushroomed, or came apart, or at least picked up a scratch on its tip, but the only thing that happened at all, after it left the barrel, was that it picked up a dent... on the back of the bullet.

Obviously that bullet never hit any UFO, given the overall good condition!

Unsurprising where your "knowledge" comes from.
As for bullets, those I have shot and retrieved into the same board. or whatever stop-- they come out very different; some almost smashed flat, some almost intact, some in between those descriptions. One bullet does not prove something did, or did not, happen, and especially when you've already put your conclusion before any observation.
