UN: Wants higher global taxes to "combat global warming"

And, with our President and current leadership, we'll probably break our necks signing up to pay it.

I always find it stunning that we, a sovereign nation, would be willing to pay taxes we don't owe, with money we don't have, to an organization we don't like, to combat a problem that doesn't exist.

Someone once described a lottery as "a tax on stupid people." Well, we've found exhibit #2 for "stupid tax."

Odds are high that some idiot judge (probably from the Ninth Circus Court of Appeals) will actually find our country liable for this ridiculous assessment.

Odds are even higher that the true paragons of human rights, freedom, and virtue--garbage dumps of liberty such as Ethiopia, Sudan, and China--will probably be cheering on this stupid idea (all the while not paynig a dime of it).

If the UN would simply shut down, that would do away with at least a third of the hot air that is supposedly changing our climate.
