How do you understand the following verses from Sacred Scripture: John 17:20-23 (ESV): "I do not ask for these only, but also for those who will believe in me through their word, that they may all be one, just as you, Father, are in me, and I in you, that they also may be in us, so that the world may believe that you have sent me. The glory that you have given me I have given to them, that they may be one even as we are one, I in them and you in me, that they may become perfectly one, so that the world may know that you sent me and loved them even as you loved me." 1 Cor. 1:10 (ESV): "I appeal to you, brothers, by the name of our Lord Jesus Christ, that all of you agree and that there be no divisions among you, but that you be united in the same mind and same judgment." 1 Cor. 12:24b-25 (ESV): "But God has so composed the body, giving greater honor to the part that lacked it, that there may be no division in the body, but that the members may have the same care for one another." Phil. 2:2 (ESV): "Complete my joy by being of the same mind, have the same love, being in full accord and of one mind." Is this principle of unity being practiced today? How do you understand this unity that is called for?
