This bill is being debated on C-Span right now and should be voted upon this week. Please write & urge them to pass it! (We give pain medication to animals being euthanized, the least we can do is to give pain medication to our unborn children who are about to be aborted!!! (Naturally the Democratic baby butchers are against this act--it might legitimize the fact that these babies being butchered are not just "blobs.")

You can email or call your Member of Congress (House) here to urge passage of this bill:

But isn't this in a way saying, it's ok to abort, if it's painless?

I'm not trying to be argumentative, but this is like saying, "We can't get kids to stop having sex, so let's encourage them to use condoms."

While I see the benefit in what you're saying, how do we pass it without legitimizing abortion? I'm confused.

Well, it's a moot point because the Party of Death saw to it that the bill was put on the back burner, once again without a vote.

To address what you are saying, Joshua, until the electorate get to vote on whether or not abortion on demand is what we the citizens want (if that day will ever come) without Judicial Activism from the Supreme Court making our laws for us, abortion is here to stay, and it is legal, even though barbaric. To give the unborn pain medication before they are ripped from their mother's wombs in no way legitimizes abortion, but accepts the fact that until the electorate can vote on the issue, either at the polls or through our elected legislators, the bill is an attempt to prevent the pain of unborn babies before they are murdered. It is an attempt to make more humane an inhumane, barbaric procedure.

But the Party of Death has come through once again (Democrats). There is no chance this will ever pass in the new Congress. This was a last ditch effort to get something done before this Congress ends. Chalk another one up for satan.

You must be talking about the republicans; they are the party in charge in Congress until January 20th.

I understand your point Joshua, but isn't this a "baby" step in the right direction to educate people that they do feel pain.

Any step in the right direction is a good one right?

Like I said, I see your point LE, I'm just not sure what I think about it. You've given me some things to think about.
