As for me, it remains my opinion that if the American government deported illegal's and emphasized border control [not just patrol], we'd be spending less for schools [pre through public colleges], health care, welfare, law enforcement [from arrests to courts to prison], infrastructure wearing out, and many other things that the federal; state and local governments have to pony up to keep this society afloat.

Very few people want to admit that there is a thousand-pound gorilla in the Oval Office. Instead, we preach more tolerance and the need to be politically correct, while the feds continue to borrow needlessly on their First Bank of China credit card.

With stronger border control and enforcement of laws on the books that deal swiftly and correctly with illegal border crosser's we would see a different America. One that has money, jobs, and less debt. We'd not have to worry about Medicare, social security, recessions, unemployment, crime, and you can probably fill in the blanks better than I can.

When the liberal learning, bleeding hearts of the nation step down from their soap box maybe this nation can get itself back on track.

So long as America continues to ignore the gorilla in the Oval Office; we will be economically starved, challenged and passing unto our children's children debt that will take a huge bite out of their paychecks when their time comes to earn a living and contribute to this nation and raise their own families.

Legal immigration is what made America great, way back when those coming here wanted to assimilate and become American in every way! However, IMHO, illegal immigration will be what makes America less than great, and deeply in debt and even more deeply divided.

Amnesty is not the answer! Enforcement and deportation worked back in our grandparent's days, and it will work today when the do-gooders get out of the way! We can't continue to add unspecified amounts of debt every year, just like we can't continue to add unspecific numbers of illegal immigrants from nations around this world.

    Shalom! :type:
