US Intelligence: Russia Didn’t Do It

    Paul Craig Roberts

After days of placing hostile blame for the downing of the Malaysian airliner on Russia, the White House permitted US intelligence officials to tell reporters that there is no evidence of the Russian government’s involvement.

Obviously, the US satellite photos do not support the Obama regime’s lies. If the White House had any evidence of Russian complicity, it would have released it to great fanfare days ago.

We are fortunate that the analytical side of the CIA, in contrast with the black ops side, retains analysts with integrity even after the purge of the agency ordered by Dick Cheney. Incensed that the CIA did not immediately fall in line with all of the Bush regime’s war lies, Cheney had the agency purged. The black ops side of the agency is a different story. Many believe that it should be defunded and abolished as this part of the CIA operates in violation of statutory US law.

Don’t hold your breath until Washington abolishes black-ops operations or the Obama regime apologizes to the Russian government for the unfounded accusations and insinuations leveled by the White House at Russia.

Despite this admission by US intelligence officials, the propaganda ministry is already at work to undermine the admission. (SEE THIS and SEE THIS) The intelligence officials themselves claim that Russia is, perhaps, indirectly responsible, because Russia “created the conditions” that caused Kiev to attack the separatists.

In other words, Washington’s coup overseen by US State Department official Victoria Nuland, which overthrew an elected democratic Ukrainian government and brought extreme Russophobes into power in Kiev who attacked dissenting former Russian territories that were attached to Ukraine by Soviet communist party leaders when Russia and Ukraine were part of the same country, has no responsibility for the result.

Washington is innocent. Russia is guilty. End of story.

Thank you. This is a perfect example of combining multiple tricks such as "cherry picking," "shotgun augmentation," and "citing inexistent sources" and "citing sources that are wrong." These are among several logical fallacies and deliberately misleading contrivances often committed by conspiracy theorists such as yourself.

Newsflash: The Obama administration, as corrupt as it is, has never said "Russia did it." What they have said is "Russia is complicit in the separatists' attack." But from the article linked -- and most won't actually go read the article, but will buy into any appearance of "synopsis" of it by the OP -- one would leap to the totally erroneous conclusion that the intelligence services have suddenly exposed a lie by the Obama administration, to the delight of the OP. But the linked article by Paul Craig Roberts, who has the market cornered on tinfoil hats, manages to sneak in many lies of his own that anyone naïve enough to digest it at face value may accept as truths. They aren't.

None of the references to "American black ops" are valid or supportable statements. Roberts liberal use of inexistent sources, which in his practice primarily involves repeating lies in the form of assumed common knowledge, is the primary giveaway to anyone considering Ponch's attempt to sell you a pig in a poke. The Obama administration has told a lot of lies. But "Russia did it" relative to the shoot-down of MH17 ain't one of 'em.

    Epic fail.

    Irony Alert!!!

That's rich. You accuse others of "cherry picking" while you yourself are in the middle of doing the very same thing!

You've just made claims you cannot possibly back up with solid evidence. You've played your hand and you lost. Your "credibility" is swirling around the toilet bowl and you keep hitting the handle to make it flush even faster! The "epic failure" is all your's.

I almost feel sorry for you. NOT!

When did US intelligence officials say that, and to which reporters? Are there links to this? Please do link to them saying "Russia had no involvement."
It's hard to keep up without a computer, but still shocked that isn't splattered all over. Did it just happen?

Here's the results of a google search "US INTELLIGENCE: Russia Not Directly Involved In MH17"

    https://www.google.com/webhp?sourceid=chrome-instant&ion=1&espv=2&ie=UTF-8#q=US+INTELLIGENCE%3A+Russia+Not+Directly+Involved+In+MH17+...

    Take your pick.

Notice who isn't reporting it? The "most credible" news sources of all.

Laugh, clown, laugh. I've got your number, Meat. You'll never be able to post here again without your supercilious drivel being exposed.
Said the guy who changed the parameters of his claims from one post to the next, hoping no one would notice.
Guess you didn't notice that ace I just dropped on you, hm?
Really? I guess the next few posts will tell that tale, won't they?

Poncho and, well, everyone should find this cool. The United States Embassy puts assessments and statements online. It's easier to just go read those than bother trying to straighten out how the news presents it and leaves stuff conveniently in or out. They even put read outs of phone calls the President makes on there. The one he was on with Putin when the plane was shot down is even on there.

    [FONT COLOR = REALLY ANGRY RED}

You can often tell the size of someone's argument, inversely, by the size of their fonts.

That, and when they reach for trigger phrase that generate more heat than light, like "conspiracy theorists".

And the sad thing is that that phrase actually intimidates some people who were beginning to get a better glimpse of truth.

What does the phrase even mean, upon closer inspection?
    Have there never been conspiracies?
Or have these previous conspiracies been carefully labelled as such?

No, every conspiracy, every shady underhanded dealing has always had the veneer of plausiblity and rectitude, else there would have been no need for subterfuge.

None of this occurs to many who were pounding away on these types of threads, however.

I've made no claims one way or another. I've just questioned your's. And you showed us all what you got to back them up. Nothing.

You got nothing and you proved it several times over. You made flat out claims that Russia did it even though you had no evidence at all.

If people believe that's credibility they're idiots. So you got a small following of idiots.

Whoopi. Good for you. Somehow you've convinced yourself and a couple others that hypocrisy = credibility.

You have proved one thing. You aren't afraid to put your hypocrisy on display for everyone to see over and over and over and over.

    And here's my proof.

    http://www.baptistboard.com/showthread.php?t=94570

You made the claim. Now show us the evidence.

Your usual routine isn't going to work this time. You've been around enough now people see you for what you really are. A hypocritical loudmouth that makes claims you can't back up and resorts to acting like an idiot when you get called out for it.

Show us your proof. Put up or shut up.

Paul Craig Roberts explained why the CIA was saying "Russia created the conditions", they're afraid of losing their government job so they have to do some butt kissing.

Politics. Cheney got rid of people that didn't toe the neocon line, Obama got rid of people that didn't toe the neocon line. That's got to weigh in on what the CIA analysts were willing to say.

They see how whistlblowers are treated by this administration, but you know what? I think there's going to be more people coming forward and telling the truth about the neocons and their lies and propaganda so you better get your "conspiracy theory" threads ready to shoot them down too.

Hope you stockpiled enough ammo.

Just look at all the "news reports" coming from the "credible" corporate media. They all look like this . . . http://www.baptistboard.com/showthread.php?t=94580

No facts, no evidence no real questions just accusations and allegations and now ridicule. Think about it folks if they had any evidence at all it would plastered all your television screens. Instead we get told there's "secret" evidence by faceless unnamed "officials" we aren't allowed to see or hear.

And of course then comes the neocon faithfuls that would have us go to war with Russia even if it destroyed this country in the process and call that "worth it" to back up the accusations with the standard Nazi response . . .

"Why of course the people don't want war. Why should some poor slob on a farm want to risk his life in a war when the best he can get out of it is to come back to his farm in one piece? Naturally the common people don't want war neither in Russia, nor in England, nor for that matter in Germany. That is understood. But, after all, it is the leaders of the country who determine the policy and it is always a simple matter to drag the people along, whether it is a democracy, or a fascist dictatorship, or a parliament, or a communist dictatorship. Voice or no voice, the people can always be brought to the bidding of the leaders. That is easy. All you have to do is tell them they are being attacked, and denounce the peacemakers for lack of patriotism and exposing the country to danger. It works the same in any country." ---- Hermann Goering

The only thing that's changed between then and now is now the peacemakers are called "conspiracy theorists". Other than that it's the standard Nazi response. But I guess when you're dealing with fascists and their followers it always been "monkey see monkey do".

What we're dealing with here is a bunch of insane fanatical "national security" zealots that have been wrong about everything they've claimed and cost well over a million lives and put the USA on the most hated country in the world list just so they can make themselves feel important.

And they think they got the "credibility market" cornered?

    Who's the real clowns here?

You both seem to have a real fear of your favorite pasttimes -- disinformation and obfuscation -- being exposed.

Why the defense of Russia? It wouldn't be the first time that they did something like this. Putin is a KGB murderer.

Clicked on this thread hoping to find definitive proof that the U.S. admitted there is no evidence that Russia shot down the Malaysian airliner. Instead all I got was this:

If the White House had any evidence of Russian complicity, it would have released it to great fanfare days ago.

and then the usual Poncho off-topic ranting about an entirely different subject, CIA black ops.

    <Sigh>

So because the U.S. does not release their sat photos to the press, they have no evidence.

Also the goal posts are being moved here. I don't believe anyone said that "Russian did it", I believe the claim is that Russian separatists did it.

    So typical...

Oh, I say the Russians did it. I got that from Bill Cunningham last weekend. The Russians are the only ones with the technical know-how.

No one except Ponch. And then he tried to change the parameters to "no direct involvement." Such is the tangled web of the conspiracy theorist.

Okay I admit my mistake. And I apologize. You didn't say Russia did it.

    Here's what you said.

    Now prove it.

If you cannot then what you are doing is spreading "conspiracy theories" based on the word of proven liars without any hard evidence to back it up.

Now if you have hard evidence show it.

    What's so hard about that?

Note, again I have not made any claims as to the guilt or innocence of anyone involved. All I've done is question the veracity of your claims. I haven't been the one pushing "conspiracy theories" here you and your three amigos have.

Just show us the proof. It's simple, go find it and post it right here so everyone can see it.

Or keep acting like you have been and prove to everyone you got nothing but bull----.

No one is defending Russia. All I've done is asked you to prove your claims.

So why are you not proving your claims? Why are you making more accusations on top of the ones you've already made you've shown you can't prove?

My suspicion is it's because you know you can't prove your claims.

    Prove em.

Where InfoWars misled their party is that that outsource thinks that 0bam@ would actually do something about all the people murdered. 0bam@ won't do anything so we can assume that only Russia had the capability and part of the proof is the vehemence of the InfoWars party.
