In my opinion V.P. Cheney is a filthy animal that is not fit to be a Federal employee on ANY level, much less the V.P. of the United States. ANYONE who resorts to using the "F" word and feels better afterward (according to his own public confession) is sick! And the V.P. didn't use the word in private conversation with a man trying to steal his car or burglarize his house; he used the word in a personal attack against a United States Senator.

The wonderful thing about freedom is that we are all entitled to our own opinions.

BTW, remember to pray for him.

If I'm not mistakened, President Bush has used one or more "dirty" words in public on more than one occasion.

Doesn't surprise me that the Veep does it, too.

Don't you think we should expect unbelievers to act like unbelievers? Becuase he is an unbeliever, I expect it and don't really have a problem with it. The fact is that far worse things are said every day in every kind of context. That does not make it right, but it is expected. The word was in a private conversation on the Senate floor according to reports with a man who was (and has been for a long time) attacking his character, which could be considered far worse than someone stealing his car or burglarizing his house. Cheney was wrong. I view people as immature when they have to resort to profanity to make their point. But what else do you expect from an unbeliever?

I will not be voting Bush/Cheney, but I also would not characterize them as sick animals.

    Best to pray for them.

Speaking obscenities is a sin; telling the truth about those who use them is not a sin!

However, God’s choice of words for V.P Cheney might be a whole lot more harsh than mine. Jesus certainly did mince words when speaking to or about those who refused to repent of their sins.

you have called cheney a filthy animal, and i wonder how much offended you are at his obsenities or his politics. did you know cheney needs prayer and he has a bad heart. why not pray that God will change his heart to be receptive to the gospel before his heart fails

Your perception of the west coast of the United States is grossly faulty. Some of the cities and communities are very liberal; some are very conservative; but most are somewhere in the middle. I live in a very conservative community, but I am much more conservative than most of the other people in the community.

But of course if using the “f” word to attack a United States Senator is being conservative, I am not THAT conservative!

I have already done what I should do. What are you going to do besides finding fault with me?

Perhaps YOU should be praying for me rather than calling me a sinner.

    Personal attack?
And this is not a personal attack?
At least he said it to the mans face and not behind his back.

So you somehow think there are no federal employees except Cheney who curse?
It amazes me how Christians who wouldn't think of treating people in person like they do here but still think they are acting like Christians. Jesus didn't act this way about Caesar. Since there is no biblical bases for this kind of personal behind the back attack I am sure He would not approve.
You can tell the truth in the wrong way and be offensive yourself. Just as offensive as those you compnain about. Say cursing is wrong is truth, but calling someone a filthy animal is wrong.

You mean the hero of so many Christian conservatives - George W. Bush - this man venerated to almost saint-like status by so many Christian conservatives, picked a non-Christian to be his running mate in 2000?

And you mean to tell me that many of these same Christian conservatives, in spite of now knowing this, are going to vote for George W. Bush again in 2004 with Dick Cheney as his running mate again?

Perhaps you should take your own advice and pray for Cheney instead of calling him names.

I am so sorry :D . No one told me that V.P. Cheney had been banned from this message board :D . But, then again, I suppose that anyone who expresses himself as does V.P. Cheney would be very quickly banned from this message board :D .

You're right :D , I should have realized that V.P. Cheney had been banned from this message board! :D :D :D

Perhaps V.P. Cheney should have prayed for the United States Senator instead of attacking him using the "f" word, but of course I am really the bad guy here, because I called a "Republican" a filthy, sick animal.

Consider this: If V.P. Cheney does not repent of his sins and accept the free gift of salvation, he is going to spend eternity in hell. If, in God’s sight, V.P. Cheney is not even WORSE than a filthy, sick animal, why then will he be spending eternity in hell?

By the way, let's at least respect his office—he is not "Cheney,” he is Vice President Cheney.

I asked you what you thought we should do about it. You said you had already done something. I would still like to know what you did, Mr. Clean.
