Anyone know where I can find a Bible that has both Vietnamese and English in them side by side?
I know where to find online versions, I have friends who need a "hardcopy" ;)

Thanks. I thought about doing that too. I tried their website. There was a link they had that sounded promising but it wasn't working. I didn't think it would be all that hard to find one, but it looks like I was wrong. I found a Methodist hymnal that had both, but no Bible! We are so blessed to have so many translations to choose from in English.

This is what he sent me. Hope it helps.

    Q. Where can I get a copy of a Bible in a language other than English?

    A. Wycliffe members and their coworkers have translated over 500 New Testaments and are working on more than 1,095 others. These Scriptures are published primarily by The Bible League, the American Bible Society and the International Bible Society and are distributed in the country where used. If you'd like more information on a language, consult the Ethnologue. If you are looking for a specific Bible in print, contact these organizations:

American Bible Society, Tel: 800-322-4253; email: americanbible.org
International Bible Society, Tel: 800-524-1588; email: [email protected] (has Scriptures available in many languages.)

I also found five places online to buy Vietnamese Bibles, but I don’t know if they are parallel Bibles:

Hey! I just got an email back:

    Hi Kevin,

At church on Sunday, I talked with an ex-translator who lived in Vietnam, and he said he might have a diglot Vietnamese-English Bible to give your friend. Does your friend still need it? The translator is going to look for the Bible, and maybe bring it to church if he can find it, next Sunday.

    Catch you later,
    Dave

If his guy can find it, ill hook you 2 up

They have a Vietnamese friend who they have been helping out a lot and bringing to church. Part of the use would be to help him with his English the other part is to help in discipleship I believe.
