Volkswagen commercials w/Brooke Shields

That's right! There is no German engineering in these minivans. They are Chrysler minivans with a VW snout grafted on. It's called badge engineering!

 

That evil VW Bug is lying to us about German engineering and women are getting pregnant for a lie. Terrible!!

 

My wife had some limited contact with the Shields family as she babysat Brooke Shields nieces and nephews. While this was about 10 years ago, my wife met Brooke's dad (who has since passed away I believe). Her recollection was that while the family was probably lost, they were nice people... very down to earth.

I think what bothers me in this thread is the contempt I see for lost folks. While we can and should hate the things God hates... SIN. We should love the things God loves... PEOPLE!

Last time I checked, Brooke was a human being, and if she is indeed without Jesus, she deserves our love, compassion, and prayers. That said, the commercial is actually quite funny... as good hyperbole should be.

Yes, but the design is a holdover from when Mercedes Benz owned Chrysler, pretty German if you ask me.

These commercials are so funny make me laugh every time. She is a very smart funny women, Princeton grad I believe. To get all bent out of shape is just about the most ridiculous thing I can think of, relax try a laxative.
