Wal-Mart underclothing earns parents' wrath

    While not making much comment, Wal-Mart has pulled from its shelves nationwide a product that generated controversy -- even without a groundswell of conservative or pro-family opposition.

    What was the object of the complaints? Holiday-themed panties -- known as "hipsters" -- which carried the slogan "Who needs credit cards" on the front and "When you have Santa" on the back. Complaints came largely from parents but also from unexpected sources, including blogs like Feministing.com, which was alerted by a reader's post, according to Fox News.

    This is why I like Wally-world. They seem to do the right thing when asked to do so. It must be a Middle-America values thing...
