    Hi,
I am wondering if J N Darby of the Brethren movement was ever immersed. I know that some of the clergy following him from the Church of England were accepted into the assemblies with only their infant baptism.
Does anyone have any written references/quotes relating specifically to Darby?

Don't know if this would shed ant light on your question, but this is a quote from an article on the Plymouth Brethren:

Here is one of the best books I have found. I don't remember if it addresses your question or not. I hope it can help you.
