I believe that Obama had a hidden agenda, which is nothing new with him, and that agenda all along was to use normalizing relations with Cuba as a neat little way to turn Guantanamo Bay back over to Cuba.

Was this a smart move on his behalf? Or should America be holding unto Guantanamo Bay for military purposes?

*Please don't get me wrong. I think normalizing relations with Cuba was one of his better decisions! It was a long time coming for the Cuban people!

No, it was not exactly a ploy over Gitmo, but an attempt at Obama's legacy--the man who undid the Eisenhower-Kennedy approach to the Stalinist Cuban dictator Castro who murdered so many people in the last 56 years.

The Democrats admire the Castros. They ignore his persecution of Afro-Cubans, his murders of thousands of Cubans, his narcotics trafficking, his arms dealing, his default on all debts and his harboring of brutal criminals and international terrorists such as the Basque separatists. The Democrats don't mind that Castro has stolen a huge fortune for himself while the average Cuban earns about $20 to $25 per month. They don't mind that Castro has 20 homes at least and who knows how many wives and children. They don't mind that it is illegal for the average person to have any political or economic freedom.

What the Democrats are doing is repudiating their past as well as the past of the entire country.

Note that Obama has sought to terminate the relationship with Israel that was installed by Democrat Harry Truman.

Note that Obama is seeking to abandon the policies of containment of Iran in spite of what happened to Democrat Carter when Carter helped undermine the Shah of Iran and install the current sadistic Islamic regime.

No, returning Gitmo is just part of what Obama wants for his legacy before he moves on the citizen of the world at UN headquarters. Yesterday, Obama lectured publically his host in Kenya about the rights of s0d0mites and that also is part of the Obama legacy.

Obama's recognition of Cuba is an attempt to say to the Cuban people that their suffering does not matter--what matters is getting money to the Castros and propping up leftists in Cuba, Venezuela, Ecuador, Bolivia, and Nicaragua.

In Latin America, Obama is being assisted by a Red Pope who says that there are no political prisoners in Cuba and that people who have relatives in the 300 Cuban prisons are not welcome in the Cuban Roman Catholic Church because such people are trash.

At the death of the Castros, the military and perhaps one of Fidel's sons are set to continue the normal Russian KGB-style oppression of the Cuban people. Obama wants to make sure that Cuba stays Communist.
