When humans acted their worst in a society, say during Babylonian or Roman Times, until the tribulation?

Every generation has known the extremes of human depravity. Genocide, abortion, permissive societies, dictatorships, etc. etc. How about the slaughter of 6 million Jews during WW II? Horrible. It makes me thankful for the grace of God that is stronger than the most vile act of man.

    AMEN

In all of WW11, only about 35-40 million were killed, some who deserved it, But America has murdered about 50 million in abortion clinics, all "innocent blood", and we say Hilter was "Evil".

As in the days of Noah, is where we are.

I wonder if Jesus just gave me salvation but no grace. Is that possible?

I guess that makes the Church of Jesus Christ a dismal failure.

Transforming the world through transformed people.

Perhaps someone could enlighten us as to when things were better than today? 1800's? 1500's? 1st century? As we sit in our air-conditioned homes communicating with fellow Christians all across the world could someone please tell me what era they would like to switch places with?

Transforming the world through transformed people?

    Didn't you sarcasticlly write this?:

How then can 'transformed people' transform others if your brand of Calvinism is true?

So you agree, the Church has failed based upon your view of Calvinism.

Do we have to make every thread a Calvinist thread? I wish they would bring back that board.

...be on your guard so that you may not be carried away by the error of lasless men and fall from your secure position. But grow in grace and knowledge of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.

Uncharted, Grace is something we accomplish. It is not a gift like salvation, but something we must choose do to/have.

Sometimes our life experiences lead us to question why we should show grace to those who don't seem to deserve it, but we must remember that we didn't deserve God's grace either. We must show grace even as we were shown grace, all for the glory of God.
